Writing and acting topnotch today. Except I’m sad to see this pairing end, as they were growing on me and together they could have ruled the world.
December 8, 2010 at 11:14 pm #18817BonbonParticipantI did like to see them together. But you know our show, they just can’t leave well enough alone. No couple can be happy for more than 10 minutes. They should just keep them together and let them become the anti-Tom and Alice.
December 8, 2010 at 11:14 pm #18818majencoParticipantThis was by far the most adult conversation I have seen on Days in ages. I cannot believe I am saying this, but I am really bummed about the splitting of this pair. I really loved the idea of them as an evil supercouple. All this time Kate has just been butting into her kids lives and Stefano was busy stalking Marlena and messing with John, it was nice to finally see them both in a real and adult relationship. Oh well, they missed the mark on this one. They should stay together!
December 8, 2010 at 11:34 pm #1882053tdogsParticipantKate and Stefano (please, all, forgive me). They were the best at being bad…and together were formidable. Oh well, end of a very short era…Please writer’s just let Victor be protective of Kate against Vivian for old times sake, don’t put them together again – I like Maggie reforming Victor too much!
December 9, 2010 at 10:06 am #18828SWParticipantstory with Maggie/Victor/Kate/Stefano and Vivian? I could see Stefano teaming up with Vivian to get back @Kate and Victor with no love involved, just revenge! Then Maggie can get together with Victor but there’s still Caroline out there acting strangely.
December 9, 2010 at 11:28 am #18829KseeParticipantthe only reason Kate was even with Stephano was because he blackmailed her into it by keeping her out of prision!! I think the writers are trying to get us to forget that little tid bit
December 9, 2010 at 3:52 pm #18840PattiParticipantand hate to see it end, although I don’t think it will. At some point they will realize the one thing that has made this pairing work — that no matter how they have been depicted on screen — the villain and the shrew works for them, but the one thing that no one counted on was the fact that they actually fell in love with each other — and that’s what makes them work so much for me. Kudos galore to JM and LK this past week. They have absolutely been THE best performers for me.
December 9, 2010 at 4:25 pm #18848MKParticipantI also believe that they fell in love with each other. You could tell that Kate’s tears were real and genuine. Even Stefano had tears in his eyes. The acting has been great from them all week but yesterday’s scene in the garden was phenomenal. I couldn’t take my eyes off of them.
What I couldn’t get over is that Kate and Stefano, two of Salem’s greatest manipulators and liars, were never so brutally honest than with each other in that scene yesterday. It was touching but nothing was sugar coated. Though neither wanted to give up who they are, the love really shined through. It was powerful.
December 12, 2010 at 11:57 pm #18933majencoParticipantI get what you’re saying about the start of the relationship but I feel that over time they grew to love one another and that was what interested me.
December 13, 2010 at 4:09 pm #18942NoraParticipantIsnt it funny how much we all wanted Stefano to punish Kate and make her miserable but they both ended up being most of us anyway our favorite couple right now! Dont fear though I have a feeling that they wont stay broken up for long.
December 13, 2010 at 8:48 pm #18945majencoParticipantI hope not. I really liked them together!
December 13, 2010 at 10:13 pm #18956zsuzsaParticipantPlease bring back our perfect Anit-Supercouple! They really were very good at being bad together.
December 14, 2010 at 12:13 pm #18980BonbonParticipantYou know how Days is, they can never leave a couple alone.
December 14, 2010 at 8:20 pm #1900853tdogsParticipantLeave at least one "happy couple" in Salem…
