Is anybody rooting for Kayla/Justin? The storyline kind of reminds me of when Kim and Shane broke up and they tried to put Kayla and Shane together. That was a disaster.
Kayla and Justin are a nice, comfortable couple, but personally, I would like to see Patch and Sweetness back together! Anybody else have thoughts on this one?
With any of these "supercouples" being together is we never get to enjoy it. If they put Steve w/Kayla again – great. But here’s the thing… we aren’t going to get an EPIC romance (soaps don’t do that anymore) and even if we did we’ve already seen it. And they have spent so much time destorying these couples (and then firing the actors) it’s hard to even care. I’d root for them if I knew they’d (a) stay on the show & (b) be happy.
Look at John/Marlena – back burnered unless they are torn apart. YAWN!!!
I get that it’s not the 80s but what’s the point of writing these couples back together for it to not matter in the end?
resurrecting the oh so memorable Steve/Kayla romance. The writers can do it if they try and care. How bout some lightness and fun after all the gloom and downer trials and ridiculous SLs.
They are more like brother and sister than a romantic couple. I don’t get why Jennifer and Jack would even encourage Justin. They were torn apart, yet they found their wa back. Seems logical that Steve and Kayla will get back together.
