Okay so what is this going to prove here with the video?
Depending on if anyone has the Salem brain when the video comes out, are people not going to realize something is fishy, especially Dan who is suspicious of what happened to Eric. Is anyone really going to buy this as fact? And Eric with his flashbacks will know he did not consent to sex with her in any way shape or form.
Or will everyone in Salem get a knee-jerk reaction and think he went to the dark side for a roll with Kristin? Hardly, but then again Salemites are not the brightest bulbs in the light socket.
DO you predict this will drag out, or will a resolution come fast and easily. Depends on if the writers have a bad day at the typewriters I guess.
The show is getting some interesting variations here and there but this one is the most absurd notion of all…Though it could clear the way if he is booted from the priesthood to be free to go to Nicole. Not sure if this is what is planned out for the future….
want’s to see Eric fall from grace but even if he does, we know we will never see any happiness for him and Nicole. If they put them together for a while, we know it won’t last because no relationship in Salem EVER lasts. So, no, I hope they don’t go there. I’d much rather see the longing last, even over the years, ala The Thornbirds, than ruin the character we have all grown to love.
We all know how much soap writers adore unrequited love so what better way than to keep it burning between Eric and Nicole than to have him continue as a priest?
Let Nicole find happiness (for a while, at least) with someone else like Brady while still having the coals of desire burning beneath for Eric and he for her. JMO
