Does anyone tune in to see these characters? Days needs to cut numbers as I see it and these two would be top of my list. Are they painted on? Talk about zero animation!
Im so tired of her character. I liked Eli with Gabi, they were more interesting together and I saw some potential in that relationship. I see nothing with him and Lani.
Lani, but even though she seems to be an ok actress, she is so tedious. I’m sure it is the way they write her character. From her boring clothes, to her endless crying and troublesome pregnancy, the character needs a complete overhaul to be interesting to me.
I did not think Lani was going to lose the baby. That was very hard to watch, and now she will need to be told when she wakes up. How sad.
person than the seemingly sexually needy, kind of conniving person she was at first. I don’t like her character at all myself. She seems so unsure of herself all the time that I don’t think I would want her to be my partner on the force.
Lani and Eli didn’t even love one another; every other week she had something go wrong with her pregnancy; she knew she was having problems with her pregnancy, yet she insists on working through it; her constant weeping over losing J.J. was ridiculous; and then after watching that horrible dream scene of her walking through the light, ending with her having a perfectly normal full-term baby made it all the more obvious that the baby was not going to make it, all of which had me screaming, WHY THE BABY INSTEAD OF LANI???? Might have been a much better sl if Eli, a single dad, was left to raise his child alone….but, then, that’s just me I guess! Lani is not my cup of tea.
but I was not happy, but I guess more relieved, that the baby didn’t make it. I really wasn’t wanting to see Lani and Eli stuck together just because they had a baby. It’s been very obvious that she and JJ still have feelings for each other and putting her with Eli never sat well with me. I’m not sure where the writers will go from here, but if all of the actors are continuing on Days, I’d rather see Lani and JJ together.
I don’t care for either character so a child doesn’t interest me. It would just drag on their quasi/boring relationship.
