Holy CRAP!! I just got home and I am only seeing the end of today’s show but it had stefano hearing his henchman tell him I guess Kate was with Ian. I missed the whole show pretty much as much as I hate to ask this but did Kate and Ian do the deed??? EWWWWW.
WOW Stef! he must have known of kate and ian’s past history or why would he. Test her. Which I think is stupid. I mean Stef knows how Kate is. He looked MAD Wow. Actually scared me a little bit! Kate better watch her back when Stef comes home!Oh ick!!!! that’s just nasty. I’m interested to find out what the old hubby is going to do. I can’t wait to see!
what I saw of the two of them (Kate and Ian), there is no chemistry and it looked like they both were revolted by the scenes. Barf!!! For once, I would actually egg Stefano on if he wants to murder Ian! Do the world a huge favor!! And what was with the guy hitting on Brady???
I just can not like Ian as an actor. He is stiff and has no expressions and no body language. He keeps his arms to his side and is like a robot. Why not get someone with some acting ability or something. I would have barfed if I had to do a bed scene with him too. I can see him being nasty to others as a villian but he is not even warm to Kate . No they need to replace him ASAP. I too liked Stef and Kate together they made a good couple . Do we have any couples together right now without a problem ??
They go through all this trouble trying to be sensitive to the gay community and doing the gay storyline with Will so well. Then they have a cliche flaming gay guy come on to a guy that is straight. Stupid.
There is nothing likeable about Ian or his acting. He is stiff and shows nothing in his expression. Something about his mouth and chin does not match the rest of his face.
I am hoping ‘someone’ will bump him off. JMHO

He is playing this part and must be doing it well for us all to dislike him so much. I think all his actions, movements, nuances, etc. are intentional and supposed to be part of the character. When someone like this comes on the show and I so intensely dislike them, I always remind myself about how much I hated Brady and Melanie at first and what good characters they turned into. Although I can never imagine myself liking Ian, even if he does turn "good" which I don’t think will ever happen.
What’s got me so miffed about this storyline is what they are doing to Kate and Stef. I thought they had a very good relationship and it was working well for both of them. Why, oh, why, did they have to go and spoil it? Are these writers so miserable in their own lives that they have to mess up all our characters too. Bah!
something very different with him now. You could be right in he’s playing the role. I do remember a little ‘stiffness’ but he was playing a shrink there and then a victim. He’s not a ‘romantic leading man’ type (on either show). I do suspect he’s had either too much botox or something so that he doesn’t look like he’s aging appropriately. I know we’re not supposed to comment on actor’s looks so I’ll leave it at that.
I don’t like his character at all as I feel there is something evil going on underneath. Was Stefano the guy that blackmailed him to stay away from Kate? If so, why is he back now? Or was it Victor and that’s why he took his company to run? – this one doesn’t make sense as it makes Victor look like an idiot for not knowing who he was. As to the whole story with Kate and him being lovers in the past – it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense either. Kate has been on since Austin/Billie returned and Lucas was introduced. Lucas was the product of the affair with Bill Horton and the others were from her marriage to the Reed creep! Gee, Kate must be really into bad guys – other than Bill Horton (who was cheating on Laura at the time so he’s a mild loser) she repeatedly picks evil losers!
is his make-up. Whoever does his goes waaaayyyy overboard. Too white, too caked, can’t quite put my finger on it, but he looks like he was made up by a mortician. Actually, the actor, Ian Buchanan, is very accomplished and looks nothing like the way he’s made to look on Days. I googled him and was pleasantly surprised at his real, true looks. I mean he’s no Galen Gering or James Scott, but the guy is much more appealing than he appears on DOOL.
Although I thought I’d vomit when the kissed and she had those stupid leather racing gloves on. I was wondering if she’d take the time to take them off too. Gross!!!!!
I really hope they don’t break them up. If they do, I hope they eventually get back together. Kate needs to be with a power hungery man, because Kate is also. Never liked her and Victor together, but Kate and Stefano, now that is a power couple!!
I loved Brady’s reaction!!! How could the guy not come on to Brady, he is so good looking!!!!! With all the mess on Days right now a little humor is nice!!
This SL is really dumb. To think that Kate would run to Ian cause of Pictures of Marlena is stupid. The old Kate would call Stefano and read him the riot act, not act like a wounded puppy. I really enjoyed Kate and Stefano’s marriage and think it is wrong for them to ruin it , especailly for a scum like Ian.
I am sure that Stefano will reek havic when he returns. Don’t care about Ian—he deserves it. But I hate that they ruined another couple. Actually they are one of my favorites.
