I saw that episode! I think her name was Farood or something like that. Yeah she was another piece of work. Yeesh!
November 3, 2011 at 10:37 am #28296BonbonParticipantIt may be something cultural.
I was watching Cake Boss the other night (they’re from New Joisey) and I don’t know how they can put up with all the yelling they do at each other. It seems like nobody talks in a normal "inside" voice at all. Is that a regional thing or is it because they’re Italian? Although, I grew up in an Italian neighborhood and I don’t remember people always yelling like that. Man, that would drive me insane!!!
November 3, 2011 at 2:33 pm #28303mommytutuParticipantI thought Nadia’s mom was a b!tch, now I just know that she is the rudest woman on earth. She has absolutely no class. I’ve never seen anyone as rude as she is. I’m beginning to wonder if she is just doing this for the camera in hopes she gets her own reality show. She is almost a caricature of herself. Not only is she rude, honestly she’s quite cruel to Nadia. She says she loves her, but she brings up Nadia’s old boyfriend as if he were a god. I bet she treated him like sh!t while they were dating, but now he’s wonderful because she has a new boyfriend to treat like sh!t. She criticizes Nadia’s taste in furniture, men, style, friends. Is there anything she likes? I honestly believe that she is a very unhappy insecure woman and her only pleasure in life is bringing everyone down so that she can feel superior about herself.
November 7, 2011 at 2:49 pm #28390mommytutuParticipantOMG!!! Nadia’s mom could not get any worse! At first I thought she did it as an attention grab because she’s on a reality TV show, but now, I just think she horrible! She’s almost as bad a Kate on Days. The only redeeming quality she has is that she hasn’t tried to poison Brandon or set him up in a prostitution scandal. However, she did call him a drug dealer. My heart goes out to Nadia. I see her point of not wanting to get into a confrontation with her mom, but standing up to her was a good thing, regardless of the fact that her mom walked out. At least her mom has discovered that she’s got a spine. I also thought it was awful how Fary faked being sick and then on camera said Brandon’s family was trash. She is the kind of woman I’d like to buy for what she’s worth and sell for what she thinks she’s worth. Poor, poor Nadia and Brandon!
November 7, 2011 at 2:51 pm #28391mommytutuParticipantFarah is very unlikeable. Can’t wait to see what happens. I think JP has no desire to marry her because it would be like marrying his mom. Another domineering woman.
November 7, 2011 at 9:29 pm #28400majencoParticipantOh no! My freakin DVR didn’t record it! Gotta wait for a repeat. From what you guys have said it sounds nuts.
November 8, 2011 at 12:13 pm #28410BonbonParticipantwhat a freakin’ bitch that woman is. Saying those thing about Brandon is bad enough but saying them to his face is absolutely unforgivable. Somebody really needs to tell her off…completely and thoroughly. Nadia was WAY too kind to her.
Her lying about being sick so she didn’t have to see Brandon’s family was a real slap in the face. You know, I thought maybe a lot of this was probably just for the camera but if she isn’t actually really like that, I can’t imagine anyone evern pretending to be. I’d be SOOOO embarassed for someone to see me that way.
From what I’ve seen of Brandon, especially his conversation with Jean-Paul, he’s got to be one of the nicest people around. I don’t know how he could possibly treat Nadia any nicer or sweeter. Just his reasoning for picking his battles was very mature and the way he presented how he would approach telling Fary off was very intelligent, tactful, and impressive. And what a sweet thing to do when he thanked Nadia for standing up for him. The guy’s a prince. Fary needs some serious psychiatric help.
As for Farah not being very likeable, I think Jean-Paul has brought that about because of his immaturity and self-centeredness and I don’t blame her one bit for her bossiness and trying to push him. I mean, come on, a grown man walking around town in his pajama bottoms. What a dork. And would it have hurt him to try on those clothes, just to please Farah. (I had to laugh when he was running down cardigans to Brandon and Brandon was wearing one.) She seriously needs to dump him and find a real man.
November 8, 2011 at 1:00 pm #28413PattiParticipantNadia walks on to put up with her bitch of a mother, and Nadia should put her foot down, preferably on her mouth. The woman is just plain ugly and needs to go, one way or the other.
I couldn’t understand who Farah was talking about when she said someone on Days was a real bitch until I read it on another board. She was talking about Dee Hall. Something was mentioned about lip gloss. Supposedly, Dee Hall once told Farah she was wearing too much lip gloss, or maybe said it in a sarcastic way, like "wearing much lip gloss today" and Farah called her a "bitch." I’ve read some of Fara’s tweets, and she has no problem telling people off, even fans. She should be careful who she calls a bitch, ya’ know, cuz it takes one to know one.
November 8, 2011 at 3:06 pm #28418mommytutuParticipantBrandon Beemer is a catch! His family is so nice, loving and down to earth and he seems the same way. You can tell he just adores Nadia. He obviously loves her enough to put up with her mom.
And that’s exactly what I was talking about when I said Farah is unlikeable. It’s not just he way she bosses JP around–yeah he needs to grow up–but she says some really awful things. You have to know which bridges to burn and I don’t think calling Dee a bitch is in her best interest, especially when she’s now an unemployed actress. I know Kirsten Storms isn’t necessarily the nicest person either, but after watching Farah, I have a hard time believing that the falling out between the two of them was all Kirsten’s fault.
November 8, 2011 at 6:16 pm #28428BonbonParticipantI didn’t interpret it that she actually said it to Dee but it was what she was thinking. I can’t imagine anyone saying that to a cast member, even if you didn’t like them. But I may be wrong. Anybody else think that? But she does admit to being outspoken. I just can’t really see any future for those two. They’re like oil and water.
November 9, 2011 at 1:48 am #28448luckeyParticipantfriend what happened and then it sounded like she was also telling him what she was thinking as she walked away from Dee.
November 9, 2011 at 1:18 pm #28458PattiParticipantwalked away thinking ‘out-loud’ of what she thought of Dee for saying it ("No bitch, I’m not"), then I’d say she was calling Dee a bitch, but that’s JMO. LOL.
November 9, 2011 at 2:46 pm #28470luckeyParticipantshe just didn’t do it to Dee’s face.
November 12, 2011 at 2:52 am #28630majencoParticipantOkay I finally saw it. Wow! Fary is such a bitch. Nadia has to tell her in no uncertain terms to knock of the crap with Brandon or get out.
As for Farah and JP, she goes back and forth with being bossy and then understanding with him. JP is never going to be like Brandon, he doesn’t want to change. I doubt these two will end up together for the long haul.
As for Kelly, blowing off her friend with cancer because she was busy with her breakup? Come on! Very selfish.
November 12, 2011 at 3:37 am #28631NoraParticipantI didn’t watch the whole episode, all I really saw was kellys conversation with her old friend, I couldn’t believe they were comparing a breakup to going thru cancer treatments by yourself! I would have a real hard time forgiving that being a cancer patient myself!!!
