Lindsay Hartley (Arianna Hernandez) has signed a contract role with AMC according to SOD. She will begin airing in early December and, for those who are familiar with AMC, she will be entangled in the story line involving Jake and Amanda Martin. I love that Lindsay was picked up so quickly. She is a terrific actress and did not get a fair shake on DOOL simply because of the way she was written. I loved her as Teresa on Passions, and I was one of the few fans she had on DOOL. She is very talented as an actor, and a gifted singer to boot. Even though she was not well liked in her role on DOOL by many fans of the show, I enjoyed her acting. She is not responsible for the horrible way she was written, and I wish her the best. AMC is one of the soaps I watch, but have to DVR it each day because it comes on the same time as DAYS, but I will be waiting patiently for her to show up on AMC. Even Eric Martsolf was quoted in the article as believing she was given a bum rap when Days offed her, and said he was so very glad she was recognized for her amazing talent so quickly by another soap, and that’s taking a big risk for an actor to say that about someone who was cut from his show.
job given what the writers gave her to work with. I would have loved to see Nicole and her go at it more. And they could have paired her up with EJ – I think it would have been a hoot to see Nicole’s ears steam up. Lindsay Hartley is a beautiful actress.
they would have put her into a story involving Phillip. Once this paternity switch breaks wide open, there is not a doubt in my mind that it will be the end of Phillip and Melanie, who I never thought was right from the beginning. Arianna and Melanie were good friends, and perhaps she could have gotten involved in trying to help both of them through a very difficult break-up, while at the same time having Phillip grow increasingly attracted to her. I would have liked to have seen them work together, and I think they would look good together. Oh well, maybe she’ll break up that damn Ryan and Greenlee on AMC. LOL.
I never really cared much for the character Arianna Hernandez so I am not upset to see her go; however, I wish only the best for the actress, Lindsey Hartley in her new job.

if they had her paired with EJ that might have helped. I thought they were very entertaining onscreen together. I agree that the role wasn’t the best. I thought the character had more potential with the original actress, and then when they brought Lindsay in it was as though the writers were trying to write for her and failing miserably. I was also not a fan of having so many Passions actors on DOOL. Having her with Brady just tipped the scales of it being too much in my eyes. They should have paired her with someone different. I hope she enjoys her new job and that she’s given a proper chance there.
