Loved that line! Sometimes I think the show wants us to forget that Kate and EJ have been together… glad she pointed that out!
Kate said it and then they went to commercial and totally ignored it when the show resumed. I wanted to see Sami get all flustered and sputtering about with her reaction. Of course, the writers are so obsessed with Sami and EJ, they wouldn’t want to write anything that would detract from their love for each other.. yuck!
that is such a typical response from those who despise EJami being together. The line had NOTHING to do with the writers love for EJ and Sami; it was meant to be exactly what it was — a snarky, bitchy come-back, in-your-face, Sami, reply from Salem’s best and bitchiest snarker —- Kate Roberts, and I thought it worked like a charm.
I resent your statement “that is such a typical response” as if I don’t have the right to have my opinion. Sometimes you’re a little to quick to find fault with others’ statements when they don’t agree with yours.
everyone hates EJami except me and TFlo1018. People have their right to their opinions, as do I. I’m just stating mine as others do theirs. I’m so tired of certain people to tell me to “chill” with mine. Think what you want, that’s your right.
I don’t think you realize how some of your comments come across. You say “what was to resent”, I feel that there was something to resent; but, because you don’t then I’m wrong and you’re right. And…you can be sure that I will think what I want just as you do. So, we agree to disagree.
No, I don’t think I did. I said this is a typical opinion of ALL people who despise EJAMI being together, … well that and thinking the writers cater to Ali’s and James’ love, a/k/a Sami and E.J., which is just not true. In any case, think on, and yes, we’ll just have to agree to disagree….whatever!
You have a right for your opinion. What you commented is what I would say about the writers obsessing over Sami and E.J. too. I’m so tired of Sami and E.J. being the "Stars of the Show". I read the comments on Salem Spectator regardinig Sami particulary and most of them are fed up with Sami too. Sami thinks she has all the answers. Hope should have told Sami to leave today when Gabi was there with Hope. There was no reason for her(Sami) to stay. She has to stick her nose in everybody’s business. (I hope I don’t get scolded for these comments.)
Patti and luckey, lets not take this too seriously. Everyone’s entitled to an opinion and I don’t think Patti meant anything personal.
I so do appreciate your understanding regarding this matter. It is never my intention to disrespect anyone’s “right” to their opinion; I only ask that the same courtesy be given to me. Different people have different ways of expressing themselves, and points of view for certain posters are offensive to them. Well, that works both ways.
But, thank you again.
Patti, you have always been given the courtesy of having your own opinion. I would have liked to have had my right to feel the way I do acknowledged and I don’t feel that is what happened. I felt that I was being told I was wrong in having those feelings because they differed from yours and that’s the way I interpreted your words.
You have been here a long time and are a valued member and contributor. I know we all enjoy your ideas, thoughts and opinions. It is easy to feel wronged sometimes by comments made by others. Lord knows, Patti and I have gone a couple of rounds more than once over much the same thing. It isn’t worth it to let one comment (or even more) chase you away.
Please reconsider your statement and stay with us. Right or wrong, it really doesn’t matter what anybody else has to say because you ARE entitled to your opinion, whether or not anybody at all agrees with you. Besides, it looks like we may be getting close to having some really hot stuff to discuss.
So, just consider that Patti wrote something that offended you. That’s sometimes happens, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and put it behind you and forget it ever happened. Okay?
