Ciera: If it was anybody else you’d need a warrant. Too funny! She’s definitely a cop’s kid.
December 20, 2013 at 7:17 pm #42053MKParticipantGreat line! Ciera is one smart kid.
I laughed so much yesterday when Sami said to Ciera "Are you drawing Justin Beiber?" and Ciera says "No, it’s a horse." That just struck me so funny!
December 21, 2013 at 12:04 am #42055PattiParticipantshe’s going to be a real hellion when they either SORAS her or the show lasts long enough to see her reach her teen years.
December 21, 2013 at 12:29 am #42056BonbonParticipantThat apple didn’t fall far from the tree. I wonder how old she’ll be when she does her first shoplifting gig. :0)
December 21, 2013 at 4:16 pm #42061shadowParticipantWhat will she do next. Somebody needs to slap her silly. She treated Ciera like a criminal. Granted Ciera was a little liar, but she didn’t deserve what Sami did. This whole fiasco with Kate,Sami and Gabi is ridiculous and so fake. Especially with Sami acting like she is charge.
Hope was definitely correct when she told Sami that she should have come to her(Hope) about the earring. Oh, but no Sami has to charge in like a bulldozer.
December 21, 2013 at 5:24 pm #42063BonbonParticipantand should have know better how to deal with Ciera. If she didn’t give it to her willingly when she first asked, she should have gone to Hope. But I guess Sami was just so terribly desperate all common sense went flying out the window.
December 21, 2013 at 5:38 pm #42064PattiParticipantbuy Ciara 10 pair of earrings for X-mas and it would be nice if she could find a cubic zirconia pair that looked very much like Sami’s real deal. But I was glad to see Hope take the bag from her this time …. not like with the damn photo or the flash-drive or whatever else Ciara decides to say “that’s mine” when she knows it’s not.
December 22, 2013 at 7:00 am #42070majencoParticipantScrew that! If That was my kid I would’ve socked her in the mouth period.
December 22, 2013 at 10:29 am #42073BonbonParticipantI didn’t expect that from you. I’m not fanatical about Christmas but that is one thing that really upsets me. Sorry, I just didn’t think someone with your intelligence would us it. Please know that I’m not berating you here so don’t take offense…I was just surprised, that’s all.
Although I think this ‘Christmas War’ thing has subsided somewhat, I am getting so tired of people being offended (yes, different subject, I know) by anything Christmas. No matter what you think of him, Bill O’Reilly had a good article about it in the paper yesterday. Sorry, this probably isn’t the place for my tirade but I couldn’t contain myself.
And I agree Sami should ABSOLUTELY buy her 10 pairs of earrings, but not as a Christmas present, just because she said she would. Not only that, I think recovering a $30,000 (rolling eyes) earring would justify a larger reward than that, no matter where Ciara got it.
December 22, 2013 at 10:30 am #42074BonbonParticipant:o)
December 22, 2013 at 2:05 pm #42075PattiParticipantit’s simply a short-cut to saying Christmas to me. Sorry, I don’t get your rant, but I guess I am just not understanding what is upsetting you so much about it. Anyway, at least we agree on the earrings. LOL!
December 22, 2013 at 2:34 pm #42077justwonderingParticipantActually, it is not a way of secularizing the holiday. X is the Greek symbol for Christ. So it really is religious. By the way Merry Christmas.
This is taken from ancienthistory.com
It is said that when the Emperor Constantine had his great vision that caused him to convert to Christianity, he saw the Greek letters Chi and Rho intertwined. Chi is written as an ‘X’ and Rho is written as a ‘P’, but they are the first two letters of the Greek word Christ‘savior’. ‘XP’ is sometimes used to stand for Christ. Sometimes X is used alone. This is the case in the Chi (X) abbreviation for Christ in Xmas. Thus, Xmas is not directly a way of secularizing the holiday, but since ‘X’ is not Chi in English, we read the word as X-mas and see no connection with Christ.
As for Cierra, I think she has become a very bratty young lady who needs some discipline.
December 22, 2013 at 3:39 pm #42079PattiParticipantsomehow it makes me feel so much better. I certainly simply believed it was just a short-cut for the word ‘Christmas’ and no other reasoning for using the word ever entered my mind.
I totally agree, Ciara is a very ‘bratty’ child, thus the referral to her on many boards as “Ciara of the Corn.”
December 22, 2013 at 5:18 pm #42082BonbonParticipantI didn ‘t realize she was writing in greek. :0)
December 22, 2013 at 5:53 pm #42083maxineParticipantThanks for the explaining that, I had always been told that X-mas was taking Christ out of Christmas … now maybe I will use X-mas instead of Christmas..
