When Anne walked into Jennifers office and she was on the phone saying "call me on my cell if you can’t reach me in my office" and Anne referenced how she never is. I dunno what it was – timing or something?!? I LOL’d so hard!!!
And btw – Eric, gimme a break!!! You drop this bomb (no sex) on Nicole NOW??? This conversation should have happened already don’t ya think?!? I get it was for dramatic effect and all but GMAB!!!
And Sami telling E.J. about Abby = HYSTERICAL!!!
March 11, 2014 at 1:03 pm #43097caseyParticipantsince Eric just left the priesthood he A) would not be ready to jump into bed and I’m assuming he’s not left the faith and whether it seems old-fashioned or not, sex outside of marriage is not condoned in Catholic teaching. I would be disappointed in the writing if he agreed to sex.
March 11, 2014 at 1:16 pm #43098PattiParticipantbut I can’t. First of all, she’s lying through her teeth about not knowing about Chyka’s evidence; then, for all of her efforts to save Eric from losing his priesthood, she decides to shred the evidence she knew she had all the while; now, she’s so determined to bed the Father, even though his collar is still warm, and, finally, she’s willing to take on God and basically dare Him to try and stop her. Sorry, but I’m just out of reasons to think Nicole will ever change, but then who does on DOOL. Certain characters have been written so poorly for so many years that it’s difficult for me to watch my favorite actors continuing to portray them. Honestly, I have never been so highly disappointed with the likes of Sami Brady, E.J. DiMera, Nicole Walker, and the list goes on and on and on. I don’t know what it’s going to take other than new writers, but I would certainly like to tune in one day and be happy or proud of the way my favorite actors/actresses are portrayed instead of always winding up smdh!!!
March 11, 2014 at 1:46 pm #43100dvalParticipantShe seemed to be making such progress as a character but nope, BOOM, there she goes back to old scheming, lying out for myself only Nicole. Just like the writers always do to Sami…one step forward, 25 steps backwards. I am now ready for Nicole’s comeuppance regarding the Chyka matter especially after she started taunting God yesterday. Maybe we can have another possession storyline only this time it will be Nicole because she certainly seems to be on the brink of joining the army of Satan, LOL.
March 11, 2014 at 1:50 pm #43101dvalParticipantYes I can understand where Eric is coming from having just left the priesthood and it can’t be easy to put all that behind you in one fell swoop but since they had already done the deed before I can see where Nicole would think they would go back to old habits, so to speak.
March 11, 2014 at 8:14 pm #43105justwonderingParticipantThat was exactly what I thought. he stopped being a priesnt like 2 weeks ago. he truly loved his job and the church. It seems logical that he would still cling to the teachings of the church. As for being involved with Nicole before, that was a long time ago before the fire of his faith helped him big his path with the church.
It is logical that he would want this to be done by church rule. If he only knew the truth!
March 12, 2014 at 12:53 am #43106powerpaw2ParticipantI hate what they are doing with my girl! As much as she truly loves Eric with all of her heart, I don’t think Nicole would be acting like this.
March 12, 2014 at 12:10 pm #43108mommytutuParticipantThey’ve done the same thing to Nicole that they’ve to Sami. Every time you get a glimmer of hope that either character is maturing or growing up oe becoming less self-centered, they have both characters take two giant leaps backwards. I hate it!
March 12, 2014 at 1:53 pm #43109PattiParticipantand that makes it twice as bad for me. How damn many villains can they expect to shove down our throats without throwing in a good human interest, family related, loving story for somebody. If you break down the cast, there is not one couple who is not going through some sort of drama, someone interfering in their lives, someone out to “get” them into deep trouble or, now with this stupid stalker storyline, the possibility of someone being physically hurt. There’s nothing but fighting, back-stabbing, blackmail, you name the crime and you’ll find it everywhere in Salem. I don’t know …. I’m just sick of all of it, and after Sami Brady leaves, I may just decide to take the same road. I am not happy with these writers. The vets are treated like dirt, while the newbies are eating up my screen with stories I’m not interested in. Why can’t we see more of Kala, her son, Joey, Justin, Adrienne, Doug, Julie, or any other missing vet we only get to see at Christmas??? And don’t even get me started on Doc and John. I’m so tired of ranting about the show, but honestly I’m getting fed up.
