Today’s wedding scene was over the top hilarious. All of the shouting back and forth between Julie and Gabriella. And then JJ confirms the app is really on the phone, so when Gabriella grabs it nobody tries to get it from her until after she zaps Julie. I was waiting for Rod Roddy to say, "Will Julie die? Or will Rafe get the phone from Gabriella in time to save Julie? Will someone in Salem actually pay for a crime they definitely committed? These questions and many others will be answered on the next episode of Days!"

February 18, 2020 at 1:59 pm #56917MKParticipantI agree. I was sitting there wondering if the writers were purposely trying to make the wedding scene funny. Eli was standing right next to Gabi and doesn’t even try to get the phone from her when she had her finger on the app while she and Julie were fighting. And Rafe is a big salami. Just standing there not doing anything either! I am glad though that Gabi was finally found out.
On a side note, does everything Gabi wears have to be slutty looking? I know she is young with a nice figure but the way she dresses, she looks likes she is going to a night club all the time. I would never have worn a wedding dress like that in front of family–way too short! Save it for the honeymoon! Oh ya, there won’t be a honeymoon.
February 18, 2020 at 3:14 pm #56919mommytutuParticipantOne of my kids was home from college and one in high schoo was home. They were actually surprised by Gabi’s dress. We all agreed that had the dress been long or even long with a slit, it would have had a very Art Deco look. It would have been like old Hollywood glamour. But the short, skin tight, club dress was yuck! Also, my high schooler asked me if anyone ever gets married on this show. She’s never seen a wedding completed. I had to think about that, and she’s right. Every wedding is interrupted. When they do get married, it’s usually small and quiet. Non of the hoopla that’s planned for the real wedding.

February 19, 2020 at 2:27 pm #56924PattiParticipantthat this ridiculous writing was intentional and Carlivati was told to make this show as boring and as disappointing as he could possibly make it so the fans would start dropping like flies. That way, when NBC canceled Days of Our Lives, no one would be the wiser, just grateful to rid their addiction!!!
February 19, 2020 at 3:35 pm #56925caseyParticipantANYONE on this forum could do a better scripting job!
February 19, 2020 at 5:06 pm #56927DCola522ParticipantNot to mention – everyone thinks Julie is having some sort of heart attack and there is Valerie, a DOCTOR, standing there with her mouth gaping! Eli had to yell Mom, do something!! Such a bizarre scene all around.
February 19, 2020 at 11:57 pm #56928lynnekarenParticipantI said that on another thread. Even though Julie was faking, the guests didn’t know and Valerie stands there with her mouth open. As a nurse, I’d have jumped in immediately to help and not stare at her. SMH
February 20, 2020 at 11:00 am #56930powerpaw2ParticipantGod bless you! I’ve had several surgeries over the years and a nice nurse can make things so much more tolerable. Y’all are truly angels on earth.
February 21, 2020 at 10:20 pm #56933lynnekarenParticipantI really appreciate that and love to be able to help people going through the scariest and roughest and happiest times of their lives. ❤️
