I’m still on Monday’s show, but honestly, I hate that top that Madison is wearing. It looks like cheap lame`on a hideous striped shirt, it almost looks like metallic plastic/rubber. I don’t know who designed that, but it’s ugly and whoever thought it was a good look has no taste. Now I’m sure someone’s going to say they like it, but honestly, it’s not screaming I’m a professional 30 something, more of an I shop at thrift stores and found this hideos top look, JMHO.
What professional businesswoman would wear that to WORK? It was basically spandex!! Granted, we didn’t see her physically "at" work but she conducted an interview in it (Abigail).
Can we also discuss Kate’s most recent outfit? That gray outfit with the black bra showing underneath and the slit up to her thigh? Again – professional businesswoman?? I think not. Not to mention, Sami doesn’t dress appropriately for work either. Her boobs are popping out of every outfit she wears!
My husband was with me and I asked him if he could ever picture a businesswoman going to work in a dress like that and he just laughed.
I didn’t see the back of kates outfit. Her damn blue streak is all I can see. I’m surprised she didn’t keep the one finger nail painted like she had before. I agree about Sami’s hair and maddisons outfit. I thought it was a full dress, but ugly anyway. She should be on star treck with that one! that’s what it kinda looked like to me, with the silver stripes.
Did you notice the slit was so high that you could see the darker/panty part of her hosiery?!!! That was so horrible I rewound just to see if I saw what I saw. I can’t believe these actresses let the wardrobe dept. put them in these awful clothes.
I actually liked the dress. However, I agree, it’s not your typical business type attire. But, in Kate and Madison’s defense, they ARE in the fashion industry and those women tend to dress much differently (remember The Devil Wears Prada?) than your typical corporate type so I can give them a pass on that.
But Abby’s top? And the top Carrie just happened to be wearing when it was so hot? I’m sure!!! But I guess it’s a good thing she DID have that on or she would have had to strip to her bra. That scene was so hokey it made me ill.
I bet the actresses pick out most of their clothes. I never heard that but I think there is a lot of an actresses’ personal style in what they choose. I could be wrong.
actually, wardrobe lays out several outfits for a show, and lots of the actorrs pick their choices for that episode. Just goes to show, it’s not all wardrobe’s fault. Many of them actually dress this way IRL.
I agree with all the comments but I could not believe Sammi’s boobs popping out as a work dress. Not work attire at all.
When I was still working, HR would probably have sent her home to change. Come one, that’s barely something you’d wear out to a club, let alone the office. I know the guys wouldn’t get anything done that day and probably spill their coffee triping over their tongues.
But really, girls (and Johnny…and any other guys out there), we have to remember this is a soap opera and they are trying to wow us with their clothing selections. Personally, I like seeing all the pretty, cool, unusual, and even ridiculous and outlandish stuff they wear. I mean, look at all the fodder we have to post about from Kate alone.
I remember a long time ago Jennifer had on a pink/black/white plaid skirt and a pink wool blazer with a white turtleneck. I totally fell in love with that outfit so much I went out and bought fabric to make one just like it. (And BOY, did I have a hard time finding that pink plaid!!!) I LOVED that outfit.
As an aside, who watches Project Runway? I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being able to visit Mood to see their selection of fabrics and stuff. OMG! They have EVERYTHING!!! I’d be a kid in a candy store. Except now that I’m retired, I don’t sew much anymore.
That’s where I blame the producers of the show. Horny perverts who think they can’t get a scene across unless they have the girls showing off their "girls."
and agree with you about Mood, though I don’t sew. I love some of the fabrics the designers on the show pick out, but I don’t know how they ever can find what they want in such a short time because that store looks huge and the options are endless.
