Did I miss something or did they rewrite history? I can wrap my head around the whole Maggie/Daniel egg thing… but did we ever hear about Maggie having a kid and giving it up for adoption? Or is this a history rewrite?
I feel as though DOOL could do WONDERS with this Abby storyline…. as if she was doing this to herself (cutting her own nightie up) and going full on cuckoo like her Grandma. If KM was staying I’d love to see that happen….
Why kidnap Paul and not Brady? Just curious…

with Summer’s age. It wasn’t that long ago that Victor was telling Maggie that Deimos was in jail for 30 years and was put there when he was 20 and Maggie said "Oh, he’s a lot younger than you, then." How old are Maggie and Summer supposed to be? It looks like Suzanne (Maggie) was born in 1944, if she had a kid at 17, her kid would be 55. I assumed Summer is in her late 20s, which would make Maggie in her late 40s.
Just looked it up and Summer is 42 in real life, which would put Maggie at 59. A little more believable, but I’m still having an issue with it. She doesn’t look older than Nick’s mom, who was on a couple years ago.
John’s father said something about Paul being young and strong, maybe he knows that Brady had a heart transplant and isn’t very strong right now. Just a guess. Also wondering if Paul being Asian will play into this.
Suzanne Rodgers was born in 1943 which makes her a very beautifull 73 so even if Summer was 55 on the show Maggie would have been 18 when she had her. To me Summer looks to be 40 ish. So in answer to the question did they rewrite history? most likley they do it all the time on this show. Look how many freakin times they’ve changed John’s family history!
at least for me, if they made Summer (as if we needed her at all) one of Maggie’s stolen eggs back when Daniel was conceived, and Dan’s originally believed parantage conceived Summer the same way, hence she was raised with the strict parenting and then left to find herself, and Daniel somehow found her, did some research, and then we have the story we have now. Hell, I don’t care, she could have even been Daniel’s twin for all I care; they look the same age to me anyway. I could believe that sl but rewriting history for Maggie Simmons Horton now is just another smdh for me. I hate it. This damn writing. Who’s next for destruction? Oh, well, at least DOOL already got re-signed for another year. This is what happens to soaps when you have trouble behind the scenes, especially with headwriters.

Sean Christain, aka, Daniel Jonas, just turned 50. How on freaking earth could Summer be older than him, but in reality, younger than him? If she had been from one of Maggie’s stolen eggs, we could all believe it, but this is really expecting too much of the viewers and I personally cannot suspend my disbelief for this story.

I understand your disbelief but to put it all in perspective I have two words for you….Gemini Twins or Swamp Girl or Demon Possesion or New Roman I mean we have been suspending disbelief for years.
it hasn’t been confirmed that Maggie actually gave birth to Summer. It could have been the stolen egg thing which would account for the age difference.
Loved Swamp Girl SL (but I loved porn star Billie – I know I"m the only one) & I loved loved loved Marlena possessed. I, for one, was a MAJOR JER fan. GREAT writing and the ratings showed it (they went up and stayed up.)
Oh I was riveted by Possesion storyline but I mean it was pure camp. They have moved away from that to some extent. The brainwashing and sorasing continues though.
