Brady to E.J.  –  "I could care less."  Why can’t people get this saying correct?  It’s I COULDN’T CARE less.  Saying I could care less implies you care in the first place.  I COULDN’T care less implies you don’t care at al – therefore you are unable to care less.

    DRIVES ME NUTS!!!

Yes, that bugs me, too. The other thing that really gets on my nerves is their misuse of "lie" and "lay" on the show. Is the script using bad grammar, or are the actors just saying it the way they would say it in real life? I know it is a minor thing, but once a teacher always a teacher I guess.

I know this is correct but everybody says eye-ther instead of the way most people pronounce it…ee-ther.  It especially sounded strange coming out of Bo’s mouth.  I mean, really, how many people say that?

Don’t know why, but with the loon e sound instead of long I, it sounds weird to me.

you recline you lie down, not lay down. This is a grammar misuse you hear a lot.  Also  more and more I’m hearing "He had went" or he "had ran."  Ouch!

How about "I seen".  It is surprising how most people don’t know grammar.
