FIVE TIE FOR LEAD: For the first time since March 2006, there was a 5-way tie for the monthly episode leader. Also, all 5 actors are making their first appearance as leaders in 2012. Kristian Alfonso (Hope) leads for the first time since September 2011; Galen Gering (Rafe) leads for the first time since December 2011; Drake Hogestyn (John) leads for the first time since June 2008; Lauren Koslow (Kate) leads for the first time since February 2005; and Alison Sweeney (Sami) leads for the first time since August 2010.

LAUREN’S ONCE-A-DECADE APPEARANCE: Lauren Koslow (Kate) was the monthly episode leader for just the third time in her 16-year "Days" career. She has topped the list just once a decade during her time on "Days": September 1998, February 2005 and March 2012.
