This may have been in the pre-empted portion of the show that I missed the day before, but how did Shane know about Alice? And how did he know Kim was in Salem, etc?
When he got on the plane he seemed to be completely in the loop. I guess Rafe didn’t phone home to check on anything..
Oh – and what happened to Anna? Last I saw she was stumbling out of her hospital room – but didn’t somebody surprise her? I don’t remember seeing who that was or what happened.

I saw the whole show on Soap Net. I just guessed that he or Rafe used their government spy connections to get all the info before they returned. You know, check in and let people know what happened and then find out what else was going on?
these people all have phones that work everywhere on the planet. He probably just called someone in Salem and they filled him in. But why Rafe didn’t bother calling, go figure.
I was watching Royal Pains last night (on DVR) and was surprised to see him try to use his cell phone in Cuba and couldn’t. At least there are some shows that have a soupcon of realism.
Shane kept saying that he wouldn’t say anything about the ISA until he found out if what they said about his family was true. So my assumption was that he had talked to them and they informed him.
