What did you all think about Mel and nicks conversation? I thought they both really needed to get that all out in the open. I’m glad they did, but unhappy Mel is leaving. Chad is becoming the psycho stalker now! my GAWD! and he isn’t even on any pills. Just dimera blood running thru his veins. I hope Nick presses charges. The poor guy wasn’t doing a thing and gets the crap beat out of him. I’m glad they are pairing gabby and nick. I think I’ll like them together.

I’m actually liking Gabby more now, and this is coming from someone who didn’t think the character could EVER be redeemed. I am liking Nick more this go ’round than I thought I would, too. I didn’t like him when he had those scenes in prison, but like him ok now. Wonder if the writers plan for Gabby and Nick to become a couple or even if they plan to keep Nick around for long.

Loved the scenes Friday between Mel and Nick.  Molly has done such a wonderful job with the character.  I wish her the best, but hope that she comes back soon.

about that scene where (who was it?) that Nick overheard saying he couldn’t change and he had a shifty look on his face. Was I just reading too much into it?
Anyway, I do have to agree, as one of the anti-Gabi crowd I am liking her better w/Nick. Just shows how character writing can change everything.

That writers can take a character we hate and make them acceptable or take one we like and make us hate them. Gabi is definitely more in character now. I can actually watch her and I like her scenes with Nick. Chad on the other hand is horrid! OMG! I couldn’t believe how violent our normally sensitive Chad was towards Nick. That was awful!

i will miss Molly, good luck to her. I am wondering if Gabi will end up pregnant, but not want to jeopardize Sonny’s and Will’s relationship so she and Nick pair up and say the baby is his. The one night stand with Will has to have some sort of ramifications. This is a soap after all.

Gabi was a character that I wanted GONE.  I didn’t think she was a good enough actress to begin with, coupled with another possible psycho-teen on the loose.  NOW, I find her not only interesting, but I love her with Nick, her acting has suddenly come to life, and her redemption is not only believable, but welcome from this fan.  I really like the way the characters are interacting on the show now, from all of the characters …. the ones I love, to the ones I hate, to the ones I love to hate.  Congrats to GT and MW.  Just goes to show that writers who know the show, and the history of its characters can make a world of difference.  I actually find myself looking forward to each day with pleasure rather than boredom.  Liking the show more and more each day.  Good luck to Molly in all of her endeavors.  Why is it, though, that an actor/actress doesn’t become truly likable until they are on their way out?

to the Gabi/Will one night encounter but for a pregnancy. But yet again? I would love to see Will as a dad though.
If it did take place and Nick claimed to be the father, kind of like what Gab’s bro is doing with Nicole.

I’m still wondering about that too, Casey.  I’m really hoping that Nick’s expression was not meant to mean anything.  I really like this character and I hope he means what he says and stays good.

Does anyone know if Gabi will tell Mel the truth about her involvement in Mel’s captivity?

Thanks Patti.  I didn’t know she was leaving that soon.  That’s too bad. I never in a million years thought I would end up liking this character as much as I do.   I think she has grown on most of us.  Should be an interesting week when all this with Gabi comes out.

I was really surprised at how Nick looked, right from when he was still in prison.  Now they could have cleaned him up a bit.  His speech is kind of mumbly, too.  Not a likeable character, if they are trying to portray him as reformed.
