She has some nerve telling Chloe that she "needs to reschedule her doctor’s appointment" because she wants to see her immediately. Who does she think she is to tell a pregnant woman she HAS to reschedule her appointment. Sounding like a Kiriakis to me, LOL.
November 9, 2010 at 6:56 pm #17943NoraParticipantI’m not being able to stomach Melanie anymore. She’s turned into her mother!!!! Now Chloe is getting the same thing from she got from Carly only she’s getting it from Melanie now! I am SOOO SICK of this I’m going to tell Daniel Crap, oh no youre not! I’m holier than thou shit is really getting old too. So soon Melanie forgets that she was no perfect little angel and she soon is going to be in a very similar situation herself, I wont mention anything else becuase it hasnt happened yet. I cant stand Melanie anymore. Now she’s ranking right up there with Stephanie and EJ Hell I might even like STephanie better now than Mel and thats saying something!!
November 9, 2010 at 9:19 pm #17948caseyParticipantThis harping on telling Dad the truth is grating on my nerves. IF she were going to do it, it should have been before the wedding. On the brink of Chloe’s delivery, how on earth does Mel think this timing is going to be of benefit to anyone? She still harbors IMO some of the old Mel brattiness and I think her motive has nothing to do with being righteous, but destroying her stepmom.
I can’t wait for her to find out Phil was Chloe’s one night stand. Somehow I can’t help but wonder if Nathan will find out about Steph at the same time and Mel and he will do the nasty just like Phil and Chloe. Afterall, Days loves to repeat stories.November 9, 2010 at 11:08 pm #17959luckeyParticipantit was just like Mel to say, "We’re not talking about me!" I wish Chloe would have kept throwing it at her, but she backed off. Mel is and always has been a little screeching shrew. Don’t now and never have liked this character.
November 9, 2010 at 11:18 pm #1796353tdogsParticipantand on – I so have to agree with ya Luckey…two (or is it three now? I forget) years ago – I had to FF’d all of her for the longest time just like I do Stephanie now. But now that she is regressing instead of progressing as a character, Melanie, I am actually going to enjoy watching her little lip curl up and the babydoll squeaker tears and then seeing her melt into a puddle when she finds out about Chloe and Phillip…and you know she will!
November 9, 2010 at 11:19 pm #17964PattiParticipantand I was glad when Chloe threw her past in her face. She (Melanie) seems to have very selective memory where her own faults lie, and she has always grated on my nerves. And yes, she is her mother’s daughter. Plus, although I’m not her fan, the only one who can shut her mouth on a dime is Stefanie, but then two wrongs can’t make it right either. Geez, Nathan, throw them both in the Salem River and see which one sinks, then pick the whiny, sneaky, vengeful, devious piece of *hit that floats.
November 9, 2010 at 11:30 pm #1796653tdogsParticipantI don’t know what Tom Horton was like in his younger (or even middle age) years but it seems like we need another character like Tom to be a rock in the show (like John had become). Nathan has the blood, background and heritage to become another Dr. Tom. Why does the show insist on pairing him with this red-headed hellion that doesn’t know her own mind or a whiney, uninspiring milk-toast that would do anything to keep a man?
November 10, 2010 at 5:38 am #17979justwonderingParticipantI am not sure that Nathan "derserves" better. WHy is he jumping into a relationship with Steph when he KNOWS that he has the hots for Mel. If it is cause he was rejected then, I don’t think he deserves anyone!!!
November 10, 2010 at 4:54 pm #18006mommytutuParticipantI was feeling the same way about Melanie and now she’s blown it. I don’t understand why she felt the need to listen to Kate and then threaten Chloe. Get over it! Yes, she and Daniel were engaged, but they weren’t married. And what would be the purpose now–to break up their marriage. Can she really be so nuts that she thinks it’s better to tell daddy and have him leave his wife? This is going to bite Melanie on the a$$.
November 10, 2010 at 5:06 pm #18007MKParticipantIf I ignore Melanie’s crazy over-the-top rantings and put myself in her shoes, I know that I would tell my mother or father if something like that happened. I would not be able to keep quiet. Even though Daniel and Chloe weren’t married at the time, it’s still cheating. With that said, however, I can’t stand how Melanie’s acting over this. Stop talking and yelling about this. Either tell Daniel or don’t! Seems she’s getting upset at a lot of people lately. Her holier-than-thou attitude is sickening.
November 10, 2010 at 10:45 pm #1801453tdogsParticipantahmmmmmmm how to be delicate here? Let’s say, caught in Stephanies "freebies". In spite of being a doctor (and I for one am of the mind that in Salem, if you are a goat that happen to wander across the medical school grounds – you became a doctor), Nathan isn’t very bright granted – and he is about as exciting as milk-toast. He doesn’t know his heart, or mind…the show could do a lot more with the character, instead of letting him get in between those two "ladies".
November 10, 2010 at 11:23 pm #18022BonbonParticipantlittle Miss Hollier-than-thou thinking she has the obligation to tell Daniel about Chloe’s infidelity. Apparently she has forgotten what a rotten little potato she was before (and even for a while after) she came to Salem. Look at how badly she messed up her own brother’s love life. She needs to have someone sew her lips together so we don’t have to hear any more of her diatribe.
November 10, 2010 at 11:32 pm #1802653tdogsParticipantsaying to Melanie every time she opens her mouth about "I’m gonnnnnnnna tellllllllllll, I’mmmmmm gonnnnnna tellllllllll" – she reminds me of a three year old. For awhile there, I really thought she was going to come around. But she’s now on my Stephanie, Chloe, Sami list.
November 11, 2010 at 1:32 pm #18039PattiParticipantROFLMAO! That struck me so funny, Pammy, but, when I stopped laughing I realized, that’s exactly what it is. Talk about being tired of watching someone trying to literally devour someone with a kiss, it’s gotta’ be Stephanie for me. And I’m quire sure Nathan has her palm prints permanently imbedded into the sides of his face. See what you think of love scenes when you can’t stand a character?????
November 11, 2010 at 3:46 pm #1805153tdogsParticipantthe bed and bounce up…no love scene that I want to watch from them. Stephanie is like a praying mantis – devouring poor Nathan.
