I hate when the writters rewrite time lines! I’m referring to when Hope is trying to figure out the connection between Carly and Melanie….then figures the "age" is right for Melanie to be Carly’s daughter!!!!!! What? She’s thinking Bo’s the father….why is the "age" right??? Did she forget Chelsea?
I think this is another case of SORAS. Plus Hope doesn’t think Bo is the father anymore. That was just her initial reaction to the news.
Didn’t she find something in the puzzle box of Vivians with information about the birth? That could have had the birthdate or age on it.
Hope found the birth certificate which would have the birthday on it and she know longer thinks this child is Bo’s child. In fact she was talking about Trent and how there is no way that Carly would have hooked up with Trent, but that she does believe Mel is the child. So at this point she knows everything that Viv knows.
