Yeah I really thought they were going to go with the whole Caroline storyline but maybe Victor figured Caroline didn’t seem to be showing much interest beyond friendship. I think fiesty Maggie is more up his alley.

I was happy when they brought her back because I thought – "Oh boy, there’s no one that can bury someone alive like Vivi can" but now she’s just more than just a little annoying!
May 14, 2010 at 9:28 am #12908SWParticipantin a mature love relationship based on longtime friendship and not the ‘lust’ stuff we’ve seen lately. I’d hate to see Maggie having to be the object of Vivian’s hatred though. I’d like to see Vivian be taken down by Victor if he’s going to try to start a relationship with Maggie. I agree that Maggie is more sophisticated than Caroline. Caroline was in a young adult relationship (when she was with Victor) but Maggie’s would be two mature people wanting to spend time together and be there for each other. I also love the fact that those two have a lot of connections with the younger actors making the story more believable and interesting.
May 14, 2010 at 11:10 am #12909PattiParticipantare going to get married. Something will happen; either Victor will back out altogether, someone will stop the wedding in mid-stream (Victor probably), or some lame, already used excuse will come up forcing the interruption of the marriage, and I only hope to God I’m right. The very thought of having to listen to Vivian refer to herself as Mrs. Kiriakis day after day makes my teeth hurt. Secondly, and more importantly to me anyway, beside the fact that the more I see of them together, the more I like the fond admiration and respect Victor and Maggie have for each other, and this might just be the perfect match. Maggie and Victor are very much alike when it comes to sharp, tongue-in-cheek comments aimed at any critic, and it would would be fun to watch Vivian have a meltdown. All that, plus I really would be interested to see just HOW Caroline would react to the pairing. Whether or not she would admit it, I think there WOULD be a spark of jealousy, not only because she may have hidden her feelings for Victor since Shawn, Sr.’s death, but also the fact that the woman he has chosen to be with is Maggie, someone Caroline dearly loves and respects. I’d like to see the writers bring Caroline back into the fold by having this partnership take hold of her heart, rather than watch Vivian run around in circles thinking of ways to off Maggie and blame it on Carly (ugh)!
