Boy, I think this year has some really good talent but I couldn’t believe last night how hard the judges were on practically everybody. I thought several of them did a reall good job (David Arquette, for one,) but he got only sixes. Also, Elizabetta,Chynna, and especially J.R. who I thought did a GREAT job.
I don’t think Chaz is going to last much longer though. As much pain as he was in last night, I think he’s going to have to drop out before too long. Your body just can’t take that much punishment without eventually doing permanent harm. I don’t think a mirror ball trophy is worth that.
And Nancy Grace was terrible yet got good scores. Go figure. She was very slow and looked so awkward and unsure of herself. We didn’t see it but I think her boob popped out at the end. Tom said something to the effect of, it would have been fine for the European version.
September 27, 2011 at 1:50 pm #26819PattiParticipanthe looked like he didn’t even want to be there. His marks were very unfair and his criticism was definitely OTT last night. Poor Chaz Bono …. he’s just not going to make it much further, and I don’t expect the pity vote to carry him that far. His body just can’t take it, as evidenced by his pain in rehearsals. I just love, love, love J.R., and think he will go extremely far. I was disappointed in Maks and Hope last night, but not nearly as much as some others. Poor Derek …. it must be hard for him to lift his partner, so I’m not expecting him to win this year. It’s time for Maksim to break into the winner’s circle as well, but I’m still hoping J.R. Martinez will win it all. He’s extremely talented for someone with no dance experience, and I just love his outlook on life and how well he is able to cope with his life after his painful tragedy, and I would think that 32 surgeries with more to come would be painful.
September 27, 2011 at 3:02 pm #26824luckeyParticipantbetween her and Chaz. I wish Chaz’ body wasn’t betraying him and that he could really compete neck and neck with all the others. The judges were all over the place with their scores last night and I really hope the voters negate the wrong scores they gave…both too high and too low. I am rooting for Chynna and Tony and JR and Karina. Neither of those pros have won yet and have been on from almost the beginning of the show and deserve to finish first. As for the wardrobe malfunction, I would think that the well-endowed performers would be more secured into their costumes to avoid such a situation arising.
September 27, 2011 at 3:24 pm #26826BonbonParticipantin the audience? She is beautiful. Actually, in spite of his disfigurement, JR is still quite attractive. Must be that smile.
I forgot to mention. Did anybody else notice that after Nancy danced, they showed the audience and NOBODY was clapping. The other side of the room was but I mean, NOBODY. It almost looked like an editing goof but the show is live so it couldn’t have been that. Very weird.
September 27, 2011 at 4:34 pm #26832PattiParticipantwho was there to support him like many of the characters of a soap are when one of their own is a contestant. I don’t think they are a real-life couple. She played Natalia Hubbard, and was a police detective, and he was a cop. They met, fell in love and were engaged to be married when the show (All My Children) went off the air last Friday.
September 27, 2011 at 5:36 pm #26836BonbonParticipantSo much for assumptions, huh?
September 27, 2011 at 7:31 pm #26839GrockieParticipantwas explained on The View. Because of the boob incident, they had to go somewhere & they unfortunately made the wrong choice. That was very strange indeed.
September 28, 2011 at 10:15 am #26863BonbonParticipantBoy, I didn’t see that one coming. I think she is probably not too popular with the fans. I though they should have voted Chaz off for his personal protection of his ankle and knees. I’d hate to see him do permanent damage to himself.
September 28, 2011 at 7:53 pm #26884luckeyParticipantthat Elizabetta was the odds on favorite to be leaving last night and they had it right. GMA interviewed her and Val this AM and Val seemed really peaved that they were the ones who had to leave after having made the most improvement over the other two couples in jeopardy. He’s got to realize that it’s as much popularity with the viewers as it is ability with the dances.
September 29, 2011 at 11:25 am #26899DebbiParticipantI know I was taken aback when they were fighting like that. I know, it is edited for maximum shock and like that. But that constant bickering, was annoying in the clip before they danced. I would not vote for them, I didn’t want to see more of the bickering next week. A few of my friends said the same thing. I do realize, the couples will bicker, they are exhausted, together so much, but something about Elizabetta and Val really annoyed me.
September 29, 2011 at 1:38 pm #26906caseyParticipantGeorge C. dumped her!
October 1, 2011 at 12:37 am #26952PattiParticipantshe struck me as highly ‘full of herself’ and her dancing did improve this week over last, but I think SHE thought she was a lot better. Chaz at least is more humble and likable, IMO. I did feel bad for Val though, and could not help noticing the look on his brother, Maks’, face either.
October 1, 2011 at 10:00 pm #26995BonbonParticipanthe’s brand new, he’s trying to compete with his older brother (something younger brothers everywhere can emphasize with), and, I don’t know, he just seems to have that same kind of likable quirkiness (or whatever it is) that Maks has.
