This is just a summary of what I would do if I were given control of the writing of this show.  Please don’t misunderstand, I am loving the current storylines but like the rest of you, I have my own history based ideas of how this should go.  Without any of the budgeting or time constraints that the current writers have to deal with, this is just me letting my imagination run wild.

Hope- I want her to mourn Bo.  For real. With Matlena and therapy and her kids.  Complete with flashbacks to their lives.  This is a storyline that could incorporate multiple characters.  Caroline, Victor, Kayla, Steve, Roman and the kids etc.  this is a goldmine of material past and present.  They went through so much together.  Zack’s death etc.  Emmy worthy stuff there.  Once this has been sufficiently resolved I would like her to head back to work where she can slowly develop a relationship with Rafe.  This is the only way I will accept this relationship.  Slowly. John-Work with Steve to bring down Stefano. Once and for all. Include Sami and Marlena. They deserve that. Then let them grieve for Will. As far as villains go, Andre would be fine if Stefano was gone but I rather liked Clyde as a baddie. Would like him back too. Steve-I want my favorite couple of all time back together. Let there be some happiness on this show for this former super couple. Abby- I’m fine with her and Chad but we all know Chad is not going to stay away from his Dimera roots forever.

will be so obsessed with hunting down Bo’s captors (will it be another all roads lead back to Dimera?) we may not see much mourning, but yes, it should certainly be there. I’m thinking though, with what we saw last week in flashbacks that may largely be it. From Days’ perspective, since Bo was away for 2-3 years, it makes his comeback and passing less impactful.
I am steadfastly anti-Andre longterm. I feel it’s time to end the Stefano dynasty and maybe have Chad conflicted with being the good and bad Dimera, kind of reminding me of Michael Corleone in the Godfather. I loved Clyde and would not mind his return.
Yes yes yes for Steve and Kayla! Of all the returnees I am absolutely thrilled with Patch.

so I expect lots of mourning and eulogies, but I really don’t want to see it go on forever.  I think the flashbacks we did see were fine, and enough for me.  First of all, Peter gave them a certain amount of time to work with, and flashbacks to these times can be very costly (yes, I believe the show has to pay the actors who appear in them), plus there would be fans who are NOT particularly Bope fans who would find this unfair.  I’m not saying I would, just saying there are many who still resent Peter’s return, Aiden’s firing, and the obvious distance between Peter and Kristian as evidenced by their social media, as well as their absence of pictures together throughout his return.  I think there is definitely some resentment that has spoiled their relationship.

I’m all for this week dedicating a day, or even two, to Bo and Hope, but that’s as far as I would go with it.  I’m ready for some kick-butt and ask questions later Hope.  I just don’t want to see them move too fast with her and Rafe, which is pretty much a given at some point….just take it slow and easy and I’ll be fine with it.

I’m not loving vigilante Hope. and the idea that Bo would tell her to leave her children and risk leaving them orphans to find his kidnappers does not sit right with me. Bo would much rather be sure that his children were left with a mother than no one and I still think that if she spoke to Marlena she would come to see that the visions of Bo are her projections of her guilt as opposed to what he would want. (Yikes, how shrinky dinky does that sound?)

What I really want to know is where in the world did they get a picture of Bo with Ciara and Shawn D. with Ciara as a teen when Bo was only home for 24 hours or so before he died?

it’s NOT Bo Brady telling her to do this.  Bo would never, ever lead Hope into danger.  He’s always been her salvation, her white knight.  What it is is Hope’s manifestation of what she wants for Bo.  The guilt probably has a lot to do with it, I’m sure, but everything she is seeing and hearing from Bo is what Hope wants, even to the point today of having her subconscious use Bo’s words suggesting that she have Claudia come to her.  This is all her thought process, not Bo’s.  Yes, it will turn her into vigilante Hope, and more than likely endanger her.  I was happy that she conceded to stay for Bo’s funeral.  That would have disappointed me greatly; and with Shawn D. deciding to leave, it will definitely affect Ciara to have them all leave her at this time.  But I do like Detective Brady seeking revenge for Bo’s death.  I just wish she could see that it’s her own desire to seek and find the people responsible, not Bo’s.  I think once Rafe gets wind of this, he will be the one to talk her down since obviously neither Steve nor Kayla can do it.

It’s not Bo telling her to avenge him – that’s not Bo’s M.O for his fancy face.   Plus – notice how he’s always in black (I know Bo wore a lot of black but in this instance it’s very DARK!)  Plus he never says "I love you" to her in that form.  It’s def. her being in her own head.
