step into the part and take it over so very completely and thoroughly than this guy playing Bill Horton. I have accepted him as Bill 100% and he just seems so natural with it. I hope he can stay around for a while and they can give him a storyline. (I still don’t understand why he was hugging Laura though.)
And it looks like we’re going to see Mike Horton also. I didn’t think he was one of the characters returning. When they showed his flashbacks today I decided, yup, he’ll be there. And it appears Carrie will be there also…hmmm…I wonder what that will bring.
I love, love, love seeing all these old characters again and will be very sad when the time comes for them to leave.
about Alice telling him to look after her and he said, “you’re stuck with me”, should I be reading anything into this? Like any chance he might stay on? I like this guy and he seems to have drawn a positive response – here at least.
Days would benefit greatly with this actor on board.I agree, years more experience and maturity.
I did like what Maggie said though when he said the people at the hospital were worried about her and mentioned her MG coming back. She told him if anybody at the hospital said anything they breached her privacy. FINALLY someone mentioned patient privilege and privacy.

I hope he stays also. He’s very good looking, an acceptable actor and could fit right into several places on the show.Maybe a good storyline would be a triangle between Bill, Victor and Maggie!!!
too. They were already flirting. I was wondering if the reason they did a recast was that he was going to stick around. Why else would they bring on a new actor when they could just use the old line: Bill can’t come as he’s saving lives in Africa? He’s been there for years, why now?
since it is summer now (already!) and that means it’s ‘teenage wasteland’ story line time… ;( If they brought him in…he’s a handsome devil
of an "older" gentleman – I just love that because a lot of us fans are ahem…how can I put this delicately? Ahhhhhhhh the heck with it…I’ll just say it boldly – a lot of us are grey hairs and as an older broad I get so flippin’ tired of the teenybopper stories…I want some more middle and upper middle aged folks on the show!!! There could be a lot of story lines with a free footloose older guy besides Victor, (whom I love dearly) in the mix, this could be a hot-Hot-HOT summer ladies!
