Congrats to you Power on the Jags win. But it was the Sunday of doom for Patti and me. And the crime was the Bills outgained the Pats and should have won. But you can’t make 4 turnovers especially against the champs and expect to win. Allen had a terrible first half and then got a concussion. But the Bills defense is legit and they should bail out the offense a few times as the season goes on. And what can you say about the old pro Frank Gore – 100 yards!
September 30, 2019 at 4:18 pm #56212PattiParticipantof course I was; however, nobody to blame but ourselves. That’s all! Lots of tape to watch and lectures on mistakes this coming week, for all…Ravens O, D ST and COACHES. So, study hard gentlemen and CORRECT IT, PLEASE!!! Meanwhile, hopefully, onward and upward!
September 30, 2019 at 6:22 pm #56213powerpaw2ParticipantThe Pack got robbed by the officials 3 times. Even my neighbor who is a die hard Eagles fan said the same.
What can I say about Minshew? And geez, Fournette is finally running and acting like a first round draft choice. He was chewing Cam Robinson a new one on the sidelines after Cam wouldn’t STHU after a play. We still need to get our act together regarding penalties.
Casey, the Bills are the first team that the Pats didn’t run roughshod over. You are definitely a force to be reckoned with.
Patti, I think y’all will be fine as well. I doubt anyone on your schedule is looking forward to seeing the Ravens on the other side of the ball.
October 7, 2019 at 10:34 pm #56252caseyParticipantWoo hoo – Bills 4-1! Patti your Ravs survived a close one and Power Paw weird game where Aaron was not the key player. But we’re all looking good!
October 8, 2019 at 12:25 pm #56253powerpaw2ParticipantOur linebackers totally forgot how to do their job and there was the usual ridiculous amount of penalties. Norwell, who is one of the highest paid offensive linemen in the league let his man bullrush him right into Minshew thus causing a fumble that was run back for a TD. I never thought the Jags offense would be outshining the defense, but here we are. There are only a few days to shape up because Kamara and the Saints are coming to town Sunday.
Casey, the Bills are for real. I think you have a good shot of beating the Patriots when you go to Foxboro in December.
Patti, congrats on the W over your arch rivals though I do hope Mason Rudolph is okay. I watched a replay of the hit and Thomas’ helmet caught him on the jaw. I’ve seen similar KO hits watching the UFC. The Ravens have the Seahawks and Patriots coming up, neither of which will be easy.
The Pack has Lions, Raiders and Chiefs coming up. I’ll be pleased if they take 2 out of the 3. I’m sure Aaron is loving having a running game and a defense. You can’t be one-dimensional and expect to make to the post-season.
October 10, 2019 at 12:02 pm #56260PattiParticipantbut if I’m going to be honest, Marlon Humphrey is my "man of the day" for having the sense to pick up the ball and run with it, allowing Justin’s winning FG. I, too, am extremely sorry for seeing what happened to Mason Rudolph. It might have indeed been a different result had that young man been able to return to the game. Our upcoming schedule compared to others in our division is scary, to say the least, but hopefully we’ll be up for it. Gotta’ take em’ one week at a time!
October 10, 2019 at 1:33 pm #56261caseyParticipantAs an aside have to feel bad for LA Dodgers. Such a dominant season and then to lose when you’re 3-1 in the 8th and ace Kershaw gives up back to back homers and the Nationals hit a grand slam. That’s rough!
October 11, 2019 at 11:56 am #56264powerpaw2Participantso I’m exicited his team has moved on. I lost interest in baseball years ago though I’ll probably watch some of the World Series if the Nats make it that far.
October 21, 2019 at 6:52 pm #56301caseyParticipantVictory Sunday – congrats to us all! AR was sensational for the Pack and Patti, your Ravens are really really good!
My Bills were awful first half against hapless Miami but pulled it out. A test for sure against the Eagles this week, even though Philly has been less than impressive.October 21, 2019 at 11:48 pm #56306PattiParticipantand still find it difficult to process how cool they were competing against and beating the Seattle Seahawks, one of the upper echelons in the NFL this season. Looks like we gained quite a bit of praise from the media and from all over the league. ESPN, which has been quite stingey with the Ravens accomplishments in the past, have been praising them more and more from week to week, and yesterday was icing on the cake, with complimentary remarks coming from practically the entire Seahawks team, including Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll. Believe me, this city was dancing in the streets last night. What a gift Lamar Jackson is to the Ravens. I am so happy to see how much respect he has earned in his first full season as our starting QB. All I can say for now is that I think we sent a message to the entire NFL that this year’s Baltimore Ravens are proving to be a serious contender, and Charm City is loving it!
October 22, 2019 at 8:36 pm #56316powerpaw2ParticipantCasey, a W is a W no matter how fast you come out of the gate. I don’t think the Bills will have any trouble with the Eagles as they are awful.
Patti, Lamar is awesome on the field and seems like a great kid. I loved the post-game conference where he talked about running over the photographer. It was sweet how he patted her on the head after making sure she was okay. And yes, going into Seattle and winning is no small task.
I heard the "experts" picking the Raiders over the Pack and wondered why they would say such a thing. Aaron and company really stuck it to them.
The Jags play the Jets Sunday. Let’s hope Darnold continues to see ghosts at TIAA Bank Field!
October 28, 2019 at 11:02 pm #56349caseyParticipantThe Bills were downright horrible. Their usual vaunted defense gave up 218 run yards. I know it’s Philly who has been rollercoaster this year but totally disappointing. The only good news is they play Redskins this week. Though I count on nothing.
Congrats to Jags and Pack. AR is so incredible!October 29, 2019 at 1:43 pm #56351PattiParticipanton the Bills over the Eagles. We all have our bad days, but I thought this one was a no-brainer for sure; however, "any given Sunday" proves to be more true for most of them than not true. I’m glad the Ravens had a bye week. Gives us time to study the tapes and figure how Lamar, and especially our D, can try to defeat Brady and the Pats on Sunday Night Football this week. Should be a good game. Keeping positive thoughts, remembering that not too many of the so-called professional analysts called for us to beat the Seahawks, so I’m keeping the faith and hoping we’ll be the first to accomplish that feat with the Pats. Just need our guys to keep their heads in the game and their eyes wide open! Go Ravens!
Aaron Rodgers is a marvel, which is why the Pack should never to be ruled out of a game. Stay healthy Aaron!
October 29, 2019 at 9:55 pm #56354powerpaw2ParticipantThought the Eagles would be an easy W for them.
Patti, keep the faith. Nobody seemed to think anyone could solve the riddle of Mahomes, but the Texans did.
Speaking of the Texans, so sad for JJ Watt as he is one of the good guys in the game. Hate to see him hurt, but as a Jags fan it helps that he won’t be part of the rush coming at Minshew.
Aaron Jones is turning out to be quite the find. He was Aaron’s go-to guy this past Sunday night. Matt Moore played great considering he had only a week to prepare. Glad the Packers’ D was able to come through.
