Wonder if he’s the real deal or teams just need to get some onfield info on him. I also wonder if this might be it for Broncos’ Joe Flacco. Outside of the injury which some question he really let the head honchos have it on their lack of courage. As for the Eagles I don’t think they’re as bad as their previous losses. I believe that’s still a pretty dangerous team there.
Poor JJ – he had that awful longterm injury before too.November 4, 2019 at 1:12 pm #56384powerpaw2ParticipantPatti, what a dominating performance by Lamar and the Ravens over the Patriots. I don’t see any weaknesses on either side of the ball. You could very easily be going to the Super Bowl.
Casey, a W is a W even if it’s against the Redskins.
The Gators, Jags and Pack let me down so I will revel in the joy of you two this week. Minshew has serious trouble keeping hold of the ball. I’m sure Foles will be starting against Indy after the bye week.

This seems typical of many rookie QBs, that teams need to get the goods on them for a few games and then they falter. Some just temporarily, others just never recover. And then there are the performances that boggle the mind – like the Pack and all world Arron Rogers collapsing yesterday. And what about the Browns who prognosticators crowned playoff contenders and have lost 6 games.
But Patti, your Ravs are for sure the real deal! LJ is MVP so far and they could certainly land in the SB.November 4, 2019 at 6:02 pm #56394PattiParticipantall I can say is if anyone is still not convinced by our win over Seattle that the Ravens are serious contenders this year, then how about now? LOL! Belichick and the Pats threw everything at us but the kitchen sink, and we just picked it up and threw it right back at them! I could not be happier today if I hit a lotto (well maybe a little bit happier)! Lamar is the real deal, and I am just so glad somebody was smart enough to pick him up before anyone else got to him before us. I mean, who doesn’t think a kid winning the Heisman at Louisville doesn’t deserve at least a trial. So, thank you whoever (probably Ozzie), and please keep him healthy, Lord, because the young man does take some chances on those wheels of his. Meanwhile, we’ll see how the rest of this season goes, but I have nothing but great hope for his future and ours as the Baltimore Ravens continue their quest with this team of so many great and talented players.
Bills still doing a great job themselves, casey. Maybe we’ll be going head-to-head in the playoffs this season. If so, it will be understandable who we each would choose to win. Same goes for the Pats, powerpaws2, even though they had a tough loss yesterday.
Meanwhile, upward and onward!!!! GO RAVENS!!!!
November 4, 2019 at 6:53 pm #56395powerpaw2ParticipantPart of Minshew’s problem is fumbling (11 of them if I’m not mistaken).
The Ravens/Pats score would have been worse had it not been for those two turnovers deep in Baltimore territory. Yes, Lamar is the real deal. Seems like a really good young man too. Hope fame and achievement in the NFL doesn’t change that.
