Well Casey Josh came through for y’all and the Jags self-destructed yet again. They belong on DOOL! At least they got rid of OC Hackett this morning. Now we need an O-line and a QB who can pass the freaking ball. I throw a better pass than him at this point. Hope y’all keep improving.
Patti, I guess you’re thanking God for Lamar about right now. Suggs was rumblin’, bumblin’ and stumblin’ (I miss Berman) to the end zone, but he got there. Congrats on the W!
The Pack isn’t mathematically out, but it will take an act of God for them to get into the post season. Sigh.
November 27, 2018 at 2:38 pm #55016caseyParticipantthe Jags sacked their OC. Bortles had a Cinderella season last year but he’s not the answer longterm. How bout that brawl that even left Bills’ coach bloodied! The Pack just decimated with injuries and Cobb sorely missed. Patti, you guys hanging in there with your rookie Lamar!
November 27, 2018 at 3:41 pm #55017PattiParticipantbarring any severe injury, I think he’s our future, for sure. He’s going to be like fine wine….he’ll get better and better with experience and age. I’m still a huge fan of Joe Flacco, and whether he comes back this week or we stay with Lamar, I think a must win is expectated for the Ravens, from top to bottom. I’m completely satisfied with keeping Lamar at the helm for now. After all, "if it ain’t broke….don’t fix it". We’re still in the hunt, so I’m very happy about that, but the real test relies on how we handle the Chiefs and the Chargers (Gulp!) GO RAVENS!!!!
November 28, 2018 at 2:42 pm #55018caseyParticipantPhil Rivers setting the consecutive completion record and going 28 for 29 – I hope this is his year!
November 29, 2018 at 2:25 pm #55019powerpaw2ParticipantFor some reason they’ve never been able to make it to the big game.
December 1, 2018 at 5:56 pm #55028PattiParticipantand will QB for the Ravens against this Falcons this week. Another "must win" for the Ravens, so fingers crossed again!
December 10, 2018 at 12:32 pm #55051powerpaw2ParticipantI was so hoping your Ravens would come through. Hug.
Casey, hug to you as well. I may go to the Jags game this weekend. If we can’t beat Sanchez things are worse than I thought. The Pack is in Chicago next Sunday. The way the Bears D handled the Rams, this is going to be a scary one.
December 10, 2018 at 1:48 pm #55052PattiParticipantIt was a great game, even though the outcome was disappointing. If yesterday’s game proved anything, it’s that Jackson is definitely in our long-term plan for the future QB position. He’s still growing and learning, and to perform as well as he and we did against Mahomes and the talent behind the Kansas City Chiefs was certainly impressive, even though a few late in the game mistakes decided our destiny. I’m sure we gained the respect of the Chiefs as well. Watching that game was like watching an irresistable force meet an immoveable object. LOL! BUT, we are now in a 5-way tie for the 6th playoff spot, so as long as we’re still in the hunt, I’ll still keep hoping.
December 10, 2018 at 2:50 pm #55053caseyParticipantsounds like Bortles is a dead man walking. Not surprised. Patti, sooo close! Ravs just might make the playoffs. Did I hear Rodgers now has the record for consecutive throws without intercepts?
Bills definitely should have won that yesterday – horrid play by special teams! QB Allen is running amok with over 100 yards each in the past 3 games!December 11, 2018 at 2:06 am #55055powerpaw2ParticipantConsidering Goff threw 4 picks against the Bears, Aaron will have his hands full this coming Sunday.
December 15, 2018 at 2:40 pm #55081caseyParticipantmight just be a definite possibility the way Rivers has engineered super duper comebacks the past two weeks. That last drive against the Chiefs Thursday night was out of this world!
December 16, 2018 at 2:08 am #55084powerpaw2Participant… and am glad I did. Gutsy call by Coach Lynn to go for the win.
Jags D should have a field day tomorrow. The Redskins QB hasn’t started a game in 7 years.
December 17, 2018 at 2:52 pm #55088caseyParticipanthave their new QB in Jackson. Congrats and hope the good fortune continues. My Bills won yesterday and Josh Allen showing growth. Sorry PPaw about Jags and Pack. The Bears have a killer defense! And how bout the Patriots who look like their Empire might be done.
December 17, 2018 at 3:35 pm #55089PattiParticipantit does look like Lamar Jackson is the new QB for the Ravens. Now if he can learn how and when to slide when he decides to run, he might stay healthy. He’s definitely talented and a super athlete. He just takes some grave chances. So far so good, though! I did feel somewhat sorry for Joe Flacco yesterday. All dressed up and nowhere to go, even though he was deemed ready and able to play. Next week we have to face another tough one with the oh so very talented Philip Rivers and the Chargers. It doesn’t get any easier, but it wouldn’t be the NFL if it did!
December 18, 2018 at 12:55 am #55090powerpaw2ParticipantAm trying to determine whose bandwagon I should jump on. Would love to see JJ Watt, Antonio Gates, Phillip Rivers and many others get their first ring.
Nick Foles was a disaster when the season first started, but does he ever turn it up when it’s getting to be playoff time. Great performance against the Rams.
