it seems that Eric is the one that she truly loves more than any other man in her life. She has told Daniel that more than once. But as far as Nicole being with someone else, I think she is great no matter who they pair her with.
I always preferred her with Brady also because I felt that Brady “understood” her and was willing to take her for what she is, whereas, Eric seems to have a “Nicole on a pedestal” idea of her and, up until now, doesn’t see any of her flaws.

I agree – Nicole is great with everyonen (sans EJ but I’m biased as I always wanted him with Sami.) I like her with Brady as she and he "get it." It just clicks.
The way Eric is with her was the way Rafe was with Sami. They see who they want them to be vs. who they are. It’s okay to want to bring out the best in someone but you cannot change their core or their DNA.
Jennifer didn’t actually tell him everything. Remember the spoilers say that Nicole misunderstands a conversation and is her own worse enemy! and that’s why we didn’t see Jen tell Eric, but they wanted us to think that she told him…. I don’t konw I’m just guessing.
I missed something. Glad to know it was the editing. I even thought maybe it was a dream of Jen’s. That place where they cut and then we see Jen coming downstairs in her house was just bizarre. I wasn’t sure if anything happened at all.
that possibiity it does seem maybe the writers didn’t want us to hear that Jen/Eric exchange for a reason. We’ll have to see how it plays out.
at least that’s the impression I got from Eric’s and Nicole’s scenes today. Regardless, if she didn’t tell him everything, Nicole finally did. I think he’ll leave her, but we’ll see I guess. I just cannot imagine him staying with her knowing she lied about being able to prove he was raped by Kristen, but her selfishness overtook her common sense, and now I think her life with him is doomed. I will be very surprised if Eric forgives her. But, I’m betting Daniel will, and that may be what drives and Daniel to their end. He’ll take pity on her when she loses Eric, and Jennifer won’t be able to forgive Daniel for that. JMO.
that Eric is going to forgive her. Of course we are all thinking Nicole has cut her own throat so it would be a very big twist if he does forgive her.
I agree that Eric will eventually forgive Nicole, but they won’t stay together. Forgive, YES: forget, NO.

now are we going to see another rebound “I have to have a man in my life” move by Nicole? Whether Daniel or Brady these musical chairs realtionships have gotten so tiresome for me. Why can’t we see a woman on her own for awhile and come up with SLs that don’t focus on hookups?
because he will feel she had no right to tell Eric, that it wasn’t her (Jen’s) place, and that he wanted Nicole to be the one to do that before anyone else. Even though she did tell him the truth, it was not before he already knew the whole story due to Jennifer’s eavesdropping. First of all, I cannot buy Jennifer’s sudden friendship with Eric Brady. Were they ever close friends? I think not. Just another way for these writers to have someone waiting in the wings to throw together on a whim of believing “if you’re not in a relationship, you have no storyline.” They’re doing the same thing with Abigail and Ben, although I’m sure that reveal is yet to come. Put some of these people back to work…in an office…doing something along the line of “work” instead of playing the town mattress or musical beds. I need new writers who know how to give terrific actors a good storyline that doesn’t require a hotel room or a bedroom. I like Rafe and Jordan, but their scenes in Monday’s wonderful show were completely uncalled for, IMO. Bet Rafe will feel like a real louse once he gets the news about his little sister. Question is, who will he blame for it?
Nicole is going to be with Daniel. Eric and Jen will help each other pick up the pieces. I will be very surprised if this is not where this story is headed. Boring and utterly predictable.
After all, this is her one true love and I don’t think she will just move on after losing Eric. It’s going to hurt her deeper than any other relationship has. Actually, hasn’t she always done the breaking up? So she doesn’t really know how it feels to have the other person walk away from you. I think we’re going to be seeing a very devastated Nicole. How it will manifest, sorrow, depression, revenge, denial, I don’t even want to guess.
