I don’t understand the logic in keeping the video quiet just because it would give Sami a motive. It would also give credence to Bernardi being a dirty cop also and make it much more believable for him trying to kill Rafe. All Sami has to do is say that she saw Bernardi talking to Stefano and showing him what he had in his briefcase and that’s why she was trying to get it away from him because she heard him telling Stef he had stolen the evidence.
Also, don’t those three Bozos (Chad, Sonny and Abby) realize they are committing a felony by withholding evidence? It’s not just a moral thing, it’s a legal one too.
it quiet because he is afraid if he and Sami expose the dirty cop, it will come out that he was on Stefano’s payroll, so Stefano would probably air the whole Will shooting EJ story. I think that’s why Sami is holding back, too–to protect Will. Now for the other three, they don’t really know Bernadi was dirty–only that Sami had a run-in with him and therefore could have had a motive.
she knows Stefano realizes he has Sami right where he wants her as far as Will is concerned, and that’s what she’s afraid of. Even if she said she overheard them talking in the park the night Stefano made arrangements with Bernardi to get the evidence on Will, she knows he has it and will use it if he has to. She’s sort of over a barrel in that she’s damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t. What I don’t understand is why they (her and E.J.) don’t tell Justin now and at least let him prepare for it coming out in open court and he has no knowledge of it whatsoever. Justin should have been shown the video, but I’m sure Adrienne will be the means for him to find out about it, because I think Sonny sent it to her by mistake.
