LOL… How about I shoot this dude in the leg so he drops the razor? Nope – back it is!!!
Poor Sami – was right about Nick and right about this too… No one ever listens to her and she’s been spot on lately. Mind you, Abe telling EJ to shut up was priceless. Umm Abe, why are you there again? You’re not mayor. Not a cop. Are you still consulting? I think it’s time you go home and spend some time with Theo.
Oh and Kate and Stefano are magic, no matter what they are discussing!!! LOVE IT!!!
P.S. – Is Hope the only cop in Salem? At this rate Cierra is gonna be robbing banks by time she’s in 2nd grade LOL

On the subject of Sami, I thought the same thing about how shooting him in the leg would have stopped him just as much as a bullet in the back. Two other thoughts: 1) Sami seemed more distraught than when she shot EJ. She seemed really shaken up by the whole shooting. I guess it was because she was caught off guard seeing that man holding a knife over Rafe, but Sami has always felt pretty comfortable around a gun before. 2) I may have seen it wrong, but did one of the nurses pick up something and rush out the hospital room with it just as the doctors were getting the victim out of the room and onto a stretcher? I thought maybe she was getting rid of the razor. Anyone else see that?
And as to your P.S.: Hope better get home and take care of her own family. Wonder when was the last time she actually saw Ciera much less spend time with her. Hope has gotten to be an annoying cop and an totally absent mother.

I think she was more distraught here b/c when she shot Alan (way back when) it was self defense. When she shot EJ it was, sort of, pre-meditated/protecting her children. This was just straight up shocking LOL

June 12, 2013 at 3:43 am #39992TFlo1018ParticipantWhat ever happened to driving them off a cliff and not finding the body? LOL…. Kill him off but no body so that leaves him open to return. Hope gets to mourn and then move on.
June 12, 2013 at 12:06 pm #39993majencoParticipantI was yelling at my tv "Get a grip Sami, you shoot people all the time, the groin, the head whatever!"
June 12, 2013 at 12:35 pm #39994PattiParticipantAli just didn’t do a very good job of portraying it. I am glad we got the scenes depicting what happened before she shot Bernardi though. Made it more understandable to me. Sure, she could have shot him in the leg, hell she could have shot him anywhere but in the back, which probably went straight through or very near his heart. HOWEVER, I really do believe that she did not have time to think straight. The gun, as she stated, was already in her hand. She saw someone, who’s back was to her, standing over Rafe with what she believed to be a knife; even said she saw the blade shining as it was being held high over Rafe’s body and about to be plunged it into him (or so she thought); so I can certainly understand her not thinking clearly OR quickly enough when she shot Bernardi. Now, she’s going to have to face the music for it, where she did not before (3-4 month umbrella storyline beginning here).
As far as who has the razor, I believe it to be one of 3 people: 1) the security guard; 2) one of the forensic cops on the scene; or (wait for it) —- 3) Kate. Kate and Gabi were left in the room, (nice move Hope and Abe — let the scene of the crime be totally contaminated) and Gabi went straight to Rafe’s bedside, while Kate remained back against the wall. She did look down at the floor, but whether or not she saw the razor is the question. If so, did she pick it up? Not sure but someone has it. I just know that she made a quick exit immediately after that, perhaps realizing who she thought was to blame, even after she first blamed E.J. One of those cops (Eddie?) sure had a lot of dialogue for an extra (compared to the cops on Will’s shooting scenes); and someone (maybe the security guy or the forensic cop) had to be on Stefano’s payroll as well. After all, somebody had to call him to let him know his plan failed miserably.
So no souvenir for you today, Steffie! LOL!
June 12, 2013 at 1:17 pm #39996BirdingildedcageParticipantMaybe the razor was in the envelope that Kayla gave Abe. She told him that she took the item off of the victim. Does this mean that Abe is back on the police force? He is certainly acting like it.
June 12, 2013 at 1:44 pm #39999PattiParticipantI was wondering the same thing about Abe.
