No romance of any kind. We have seen the romance between Harris & Hope when Harris was in a secured glass facility at the ISA headquarters, we have seen BOPE’s romance, then both KA & PR left, & when they did, they still thought it was a wise move to allow Victor to learn of his son’s comatose state & then send Maggie on her way to Victor in Greece, then they don’t focus on any romance at all, none, & with huge backlash over the StepHad coupling, to the point where it’s like watching paint dry, they think that it’s wise to send Kate Mansi to GH as a recast for Kristina Corinthos & yet they refuse to bring back Marcie Miller to play a newly alive Abigail. I’m sure that there are actresses with this show who are moms who do both, & yet MM thinks it’s not a wise move do it as well. yes, Lindsey Godfrey is no longer there, but she’s still a mom & yet she still put in the work to play Sarah Horton didn’t she, so why can’t MM, no matter if LG & MM are two different actresses or not?
Marci Miller doesn’t live in LA. She has a young child. Days chose not to try and work out a schedule that would work for her, so I get her leaving. I chose to stay home with my children when they were little and I have no regrets. I think I would have regretted giving the best of me to my career and miss all the important milestones with my kids. Why criticize a woman for making a choice? If you want to criticize, criticize the powers that be at Days. They could have worked with MM or they could have re-cast Abigail. Instead they chose to kill off the character.
What I’m getting at is that the show chose not to try & work out a schedule that would work for her, you keep trying to get it to work instead of killing the character off. When they see the vast backlash over watching paint dry when it comes Chad & Stephanie, you tell me as to why they refused to try to make it work out a schedule for Marci instead of keeping at & allowing the backlash to grow?
