This storyline with Jack and Jennifer is bs! There are so many characters to boost with a good storyline and instead they choose to disrupt Jack and Jen, again. And to what end for Gwen? How does this get revenge on Abigail? How does this destroy Abigail? What is Gwen’s beef! Also, I heard the actress who plays Gwen was put on contract, which I’m definitely not happy about. I hate this character.
November 7, 2020 at 3:49 pm #57524goodolddaysParticipantI’ll be very very upset if these rumors are true about the Jack and Jenn storyline. They have always been my favorite couple and this supposed storyline is total garbage and a betrayal to his character and their story. This might be the last straw for me.
November 7, 2020 at 5:19 pm #57525midwifemamaParticipantI found the entire episode dispiriting and depressing, not a moment of relief and everyone being drawn apart. This is not at all what I watch for, an escape from the world. Almost everyone was filled with hatred and anger. There has been enough of that in the world and I don’t think I can watch this any more. After nearly 50 years I don’t think this is good for my soul.
November 8, 2020 at 3:23 am #57526doolfanParticipantAlso Steve and Kayla just got back together and now they’re being pulled apart by the Tripp situation. Too much negativity. I hope they find the real rapist quickly and end this storyline.
November 8, 2020 at 3:35 pm #57529mommytutuParticipantInstead, they brought us Steve Kayla fighting over Tripp, this awful story with Jack and Jen, psycho Gwen trying to destroy Chad and Abigail, and violent John. This is awful! I don’t have an hour a day to give to misery. Where’s the happiness? I also don’t want to see Jake and Kate with each other. That kind of grosses me out.
November 9, 2020 at 10:39 pm #57532JSLParticipantNot to mention this Jack/Kate doesn’t even make sense. Kate and Victor were the reasons why Jack left town back in 1993 when they blackmailed him by exposing he was the one who polluted the area by their home that caused baby Abigail to get sick. She’s also the reason why Jennifer’s mother went crazy cause of her affair with Bill that produced Lucas. So what a joke. I mean I know Jack’s one of the only guys left in town that Kate hasn’t been with, but come on!
November 10, 2020 at 12:39 am #57533goodolddaysParticipantThe ONLY good thing about this ridiculous and awful storyline is that it isn’t Missy Reeves as Jenn. That would be so much worse to have the "real Jennifer" be betrayed. It doesn’t seem AS bad with the fake Jennifer. But I am still outraged that they would do this to them.
November 10, 2020 at 3:35 pm #57534mommytutuParticipantI was just thinking how awful this would be if it were real Jennifer. I’m glad Missy isn’t here to see this sh** show.
November 10, 2020 at 6:44 pm #57535midwifemamaParticipantJennifer was in a coma, with very little reasonable hope she would recover. Jack was there almost all the time, and grieving and suffering. It was awful that he chose Kate, but she is one woman he could have that escape with in Salem who would see it as an act in pain and not see it as a set up for a long term relationship. In real life, I suspect this happens more than anyone would admit. I had an aunt who had a brain tumor and for the last year of her life she had severe dementia and could not be left alone. My uncle took wonderful care of her, but he married less than 6 monthes after my aunt’s death to a woman my aunt knew. They had been together for a while, but no one knew. Everyone was quietly grateful that he had found the strength to go on, and love my aunt and find love. And Abby is on shaky ground to be so judgemental.
November 11, 2020 at 3:26 pm #57536mommytutuParticipantI was wondering where Abigail had the nerve to be so judgemental. Did she not pursue a married Austin and an Engaged EJ?
