Now that JJ knows

between JJ and Kayla and JJ and Adrienne were some excellent work. Kudos to CM, MBE and JE. It also has to be said, for a young man who was an underwear model, with DOOL being his FIRST acting job, Casey Moss has been delivering a very natural and convincing role in this s/l. I could feel the pain building from all three of these actors yesterday, as well as from Jennifer when you think about her now knowing that JJ discovered that his father was, indeed, no saint (although JJ should have been told since evidently Abbey knew, but who keeps a trial transcript in their living room end table). This should certainly be the start of JJ’s redemption, although I’m sure it will not be right off the bat. This may drive him further into revenge mode when it comes to his believing his entire family deceived him. Now is when he will be needing Doc’s help, and it would be a good lead-in to a storyline for Marlena that would put more interest on her instead of her simply being there for her children and grandchildren.

JJ and Kayla yesterday completely made me cringe.  I guess because he’s so young and just finding out, maybe that’s why Kayla was so sympathetic, but he was really a jerk to her.  Demanding to know what happened and making her say out loud what happened?  Storming in and out?  She’s been obviously shaken the past couple days, I assumed because she’s reliving the attack, but I guess it could be because she threw another problem at an already fragile situation and is feeling bad about it.  Did it happen so long ago that she should be over it?

It also made me think that Jack was no saint, JJ probably won’t be either.  It might be a while before he gets any sort of redemption.

I had to google Jack’s history.  There’s so much I don’t remember.  I found his characters history on Wikipedia, which cleared a lot of things up for me.

I wanna see Marlena help him through this – especially with ED on her way out soon and no DH on the show – what else is she gonna do?  DH is at her best when her character is STRONG and not a victim.

Now if they can give KA something to do now that Bo is gone.  PLEASE – she is far too talented to be running around Salem like a Charlie’s Angels drop out.

Now as far as Casey… WOW.  For a model who did shirtless ads – incredible.  I like him, though I hate his character, but since we are SUPPOSED to hate his character I guess he’s doing his job.  I always hated Jack so I’m okay with JJ seeing him for who he was.  Was never, ever a fan of Matt Ashford or Jack D.  

I was never a Jack Devereaux fan either (although I do like Matt Ashford — make sense?) Jack to me was always a screw-up, never really ever deciding whether he wanted to be married or not. His excuses for leaving his family quickly got old in my book, and I was never sorry to see him leave. Even this last run of MA’s just didn’t do it for me. I knew when he fell into that damn cake his first day back I would be smdh! They could have done well with the PTSD storyline and probably gotten a good performance from MA as well as the other actors who might have been involved in that s/l, but instead they decided to go with the triangle angst from hell once again, and poor Dan and Jen are still suffering the consequences of that decision to this day.

And, oh, I so agree about Kristian Alfonso. What a beauty and what an actress. KA is so strong, and I’m so sick of them not replacing or killing off Bo by now. They evidently can’t (or won’t) replace Peter Reckell, and that’s a shame. He and Corday, as well as Sony and NBC are like our ridiculous leaders running our government — holding Kristian (as well as the fans) hostage until they make up their damn minds whether to give in to demands, kill off, or replace the late, great Peter Reckell, which is extremely unfair to KA, an actress who , in my book, is one of THE best actresses on any soap, not just DOOL. I say kill off Bo and give the vibrant, beautiful, talented Detective Hope Brady her life back.

JJ(I hate hearing that over and over)is way over the top with his anger.  He is completely out of conrol. I guess he has forgotten  how many lies he has told Jennifer and gotten away with them and all the other junk he has been spewing.
