My first reaction is he is too short. He doesn’t look as much like EJ as Old Chad did. I realize we haven’t had much of a chance to make a good opinion yet but for some reason, I felt he went to the same acting school as JJ. I can’t put my finger on anything specific but that jumped into my mind right away. That and he’s got gorgeous eyes. With EJ leaving, let’s hope something promising comes of this.

From what we have seen though I kinda like him. He seems MORE DiMera than Casey did… but I guess as you said we need some time right? He’s not as much of a cutie as Casey but those eyes…. ( I said that already right? LOL)
but I realize that could change quickly. Billy Flynn is virtually a newcomer to acting, so I will have to wait and see how he handles this new dark side of Chad. Yesterday, he was just laughable to me. I wanted E.J. to crush him like a bug.
take him seriously at all and i could easily catch him “acting.” But as a newbie he will be cut some slack to get into the part.
His height really bothers me and he looks like a kid trying to be an adult. Don’t like his looks at all and I can’t take him seriously either. Maybe they should bring back the first Ben, he would work.
Seems like Days would get an actor with a little more experience. There has to be lots of actors out there with soap experience since so few soaps are on right now. All I can say is that I hope he gets better.

But he does remind me of some other actor and I wish I could think who. It is driving me crazy.
they shouldn’t have him wearing a suit. Yes, that is Dimeraesque but it’s certainly not Chad. Have we EVER seen him in one. It’s probably the new image they want to portray.
of Nick. I thought his personality was very similar to an early EJ. I thought he did a good job, I’m surprised to hear he’s new to acting. I don’t see him as Casey’s version of Chad at all, though. To me he’ll be a completely different character. Kind of like when that other guy played Philip for a while.
Baldwin and Cage in this guy. Also if anyone is familiar with Dan Abrams, a legal expert who shows up on news programs to comment on trials, Chad kind of looks like him too.
I thought he was better today.like I commented before, he looks sort of goofy to me, and certainly not the big bad DiMera he’s presenting himself to be. And what’s with the Kate bonding; she calls his dead mother a whore, and IIRC Chad did love Madeline….a lot. Please don’t tell me he’s going to get something going with Kate Roberts and she’s going to let him into her parlor because she will need his help containing Stefano and E.J. Going for your own private DiMera smorgasbord, Kate…as in ‘and baby makes three’? Talk about the “ick” factor. So, nope, I’m NOT liking this new dark Chad DiMera at all. Laugh if you will, but when I look at him, all I think of is a grown-up Alfalfa!
