Is this girl really falling for that scumbag’s garbage? He’s a drug dealer and says Paige can reform him? I dearly hope the new writers give us some believable dialog.

but the character of Paige has been written horribly.  I don’t see that much in Casey Moss (J.J.) either.  They have always been boring for me to watch, although I’m hoping that when Paige is finally gone from Salem, either by leaving to attend Standord or in a more shocking way, perhaps, I’m hoping that finally the new writers will give Casey some good material that will help yet another one of Jennifer’s children to develop.  I swear, between Abigail and J.J., and Jennifer’s enabling her kids as if they were still in their playpens, I’m sick to death of this part of the Hortons.  Ever since Jack was killed off, Jennifer, J.J. and Abbi have fallen off the grid for me as a fan and have all become a Horton embarrassment for me as a fan of DOOL.  Poor Tom and Alice are probably turning over in their graves.

If you think about it, the Hortons family have had a lot of "screw ups". They have all that their share of misfortune – Mickey/Bill and Laura (Mickey’s son is really Bill’s and then Laura is committed- where she meets Jack, Julie and her wild ways (David Banning) and marrying her mother’s husband Doug, making her Hope’s step mother and half sister, Tom the war hero, Marie the nun, Mickey and Bonnie, just to mention a few.

The Horton family on the surface is an upstanding founding family, but deep down there are more skeletons in their closet than in a haunted house. Not to mention starting out as ole line Protestants to becoming Catholic!

I just never bought that JJ was so in love with Paige. I don’t see any chemistry between them, and would much rather see him in a relationship with Bev, making trouble! Or even Theresa! I’m looking forward to Paige leaving and seeing what/who else they will get JJ involved with.

I liked Bev and Rory. It was nice to see characters that were different and not all gooogy goody. Bev really did care for JJ and would have been good for him. In the end Rory also had JJ’s back.
