Here’s to Rob going to Redemption Island tonight! (one can hope, can’t one?) Hopefully they’ll see the threat that he is, let him tell them who to vote off (since he thinks he pulls all the strings), and vote him off instead. That way if he doesn’t see it coming, he probably won’t use the idol. Or second best thing to him getting voted off would be one of his brainless, do-nothing groupies to go.
April 14, 2011 at 2:08 pm #22817PattiParticipantSorry, I just can’t take this idiot another week. Is he delusional, or what? I hope Rob uses, abuses and completely destroys this dimwit. I can’t even begin to say how much I hate this clown. He is such a jerk, it’s almost laughable. He may think he’s cool, but I don’t think there’s a person left who can stand to be near him except Rob, and that’s because he’s using the hell out of him. I like David, so I’m having a tough time deciding who to root for on RI. Matt’s been there a long time, true, but what good is it if he comes off and falls right back into stupid mode by giving away his hand at the drop of a hat. I might have to switch horses in mid-stream here and root for David, just so I can watch him beat ‘Mr. Cool’ Philip when he gets there, because that guy will never, ever, in a million years, win this game. Hope I don’t live to eat those words, but I would be shocked. I loathe Rob sometimes, but at least he’s smart and knows he’s smart, and knows how to play the game. This jerk, Philip, THINKS he knows everything, and the only thing he’s good at is making an ass of himself. I swear to God, I think if a wild animal got hold of him, it would spit him back out.
April 14, 2011 at 3:40 pm #22819BonbonParticipantDon’t you see the game he’s (Philip) playing. He even came right out and explained it last night. I was kind of on the fence with him for a while but now I see what he’s doing and I think it’s absolutely brilliant. He’s got everybody convinced he’s a whacko and that’s just what he wants. Listen to him when he’s only talking to the camera, he’s a totally different personality.
Look, he can’t be a dummy, as he said at council last night. He has a degree and was an agent in THREE government agencies. The way they vet those people out, he’s gotta be totally sane and intelligent.
Like you, I may eat my words but I believe he’ll go far. Rob may be playing him but he’s also playing Rob. He admitted last night he’s being "Rob’s good little soldier." Just wait and see.
As for Matt, it’s time for him to go, he blew it completely. I don’t care that much for David but I hope he beats Matt now.
April 14, 2011 at 9:34 pm #22840PattiParticipantThat could be very true, and if he’s really playing the player, then my hat’s off to him. I just cannot stand the way he’s always trying to persuade the TV audience how brilliant he is when he’s really not shown me anything in the challenges so far. As a matter of fact, every time Omtepe lost, it was mostly because of him blowing the challenge for them. He might be a people person in real life and know what he’s doing, but I cannot for the life of me believe he is as intelligent as he believes himself to be. You could be right, though, and he’s got me as fooled as he does everyone else.
April 16, 2011 at 5:38 pm #22908caseyParticipant3 people at Redemption Island or did I miss something? How will that work? I think if Matt has to duel Mike he’ll have some real competition.
April 16, 2011 at 6:50 pm #22910BonbonParticipantI guess the next challenge will have to include all three.
