Once again, they portray CPR in the worst possible application. If someone needs CPR, you can’t do it a couple of times and go and fight the bad guy, then come back for more. If she truly needed CPR, she would have been dead by the time he got back to her. Please, writers/director, if you can’t do it correctly, don’t do it at all. (Actually, I would question why she’d need CPR anyway.) PLUS, the first thing you ALWAYS do is call for help before you begin CPR. I guess our hero thought he could save his Fancyface all on his own.

Yes, the fight scene was well done with one exception, the one that happens in so many horror movies. When you knock the bad guy out or disable him, you don’t turn your back to minister to the victim. You TIE HIM UP, handcuff him, disable him, anything so he can’t come back after you again. Can anybody be so stupid as to ignore the possibility that they will become conscious again and resume the fight? The guy is fighting for his life, he’s going to do anything possible to prevail.

I thought Hope’s reaction to finding out it was Aiden was Emmy worthy but Bo’s throughout the entire scene was a little OTT. He was giving Hope CPR like he was afraid he was going to hurt her, heck, I understand successful CPR will frequently break a rib if done correctly.

Would someone please hire me to do a little nit prevention for this show?

and he did 4 "compressions" and then walked away to fight or whatever and came back and did a few more… No breaths, didn’t check her pulse before starting again, but I just have to suspend reality for the sake of the soap. lol.

When one person is giving CPR compressions are more important. The theory is there is enough air in lungs and getting heart starated is mor important than breaths

I thought the whole fight scenerio was OTT. I agree that Bo’s first obligation wass to revive Hope. It is unbelievable that Bo had so muxh strength because he collapsed in the park twice on the way home, then after getting there had the power to subdue Aiden over and over again!!

Also Siden could have just left and gotten away!!

FInally, I would  have loved for Hope to save Bo because I am so sick of BO being the hero!

therefore, it is really easy for me to suspend reality.  I’m enjoying the show too darn much right now to pick those kinds of things apart.  IRL situations, however, I would have to agree, but I read the same thing noted in justwondering’s post below, that if one person is administering CPR, the compressions are more relevant.

more disabled since prior to taking that beating from Bo, he was viciously stabbed by Hope with the scissors, and then she sort of ground them in deeper.  One would have to think he wouldn’t even have been able to even lift his right arm.

I did notice, when Aiden & Bo were fighting, that there was no blood on Aiden’s back.

especially if you’re not certified in BLS as a health care provider. But if you are, like I am, I’m thinking of the way I was taught to do it. Then I think, this is a soap, just enjoy the story haha!!

Why would he have blood on the back?

adrenalin. Men have been known to lift cars to free their trapped child from under one.

Also, shock can contribute to the lack of pain.

Hope stabbing Aiden was right out of Hitchcock’s "Dial M For Murder".  When Grace Kelly’s character was being attacked, she reached for a pair of scissors on the desk and stabbed her assailant to death.

it would even be to penetrate either the front or the back enough to disable them. The likelihood of hitting a rib is at least 50%. Try jamming a scissors into a large beef rib roast (or a turkey) once and see just how far it goes in. The human body is much tougher than most people think. If you want to kill somebody, the jugular is where to aim.
