    I’m willing to face the wrath of anyone who is going to accuse me of being homophobic because I know I have nothing against gays whatsoever, but I’ve had enough with the gay storylines. I wasn’t too excited when they threw Will and Sonny at us but now with Paul tossed in there too, they have gone too far. How long before they change the name of the show to The Gay Days of our Lives?

    And I can’t stand that snarky Paul and his lusty looks at every guy he talks to. He is a snake in the grass and I can’t have any sympathy for him or anything that happens to him. And now that Will has succumbed to his “charms” it makes me want to upchuck. What happened to being in love with Sonny? That sure didn’t last long. I’ve already voiced my displeasure with all the bed actions they seem to want to subject us to, now this too? Yeech!

    I RARELY use my FF button but it’s starting to get quite the workout.

    I am with you 100%, and enough is enough.  It has become disgusting with all this bed crap.  The first time I saw Paul(yuck) I couldn’t stand to look at him. You have written exactly what I have wanted to say.  You are right, it is becoming a gay DOOL.  I support what you wrote and I agree with you.

    by the lack of guilt on Will’s part.  Even if he shows some guilt later, he went right into round two. I also can’t believe Sonny hasn’t mentioned they have a daughter.

     How can you way that this show is becoming Gay Days of lur Lives. You make it sound like the only action on tis show is Gay!

    How many couple stories are going on right now? lET’S COUNT -In no particular order)

    1. JJ and Paige (with Eve thrown in)

    2. Abigail and Ben (every chance they get)

    3. Jordan and Chad (also spending lots of time in between the sheets)

    4. Hope and Aiden ( afternoon delights almost daily)

    5. Nicole and Daniel (here we go again)

    6. Melanie and Brady (what a match)

    7. Kate and Clyde (I thought she was smarter than this)

    8. Serena and Eric (I smell a rat)

    9. Adrienne and Lucas (not a good idea)

    10. Marlena and John (hopefully)

    11. Will and Paul (with Sonny in the dark)

    Ok, so there is only one gay storyline in this list!There are plenyly straight stroylines goingo with much "bed" time!!

    And following the #1 rule of soaps— a couple can never be happy for long, the WilSon/Paul triangle is exactLy what would happen to any other couple!

    Curious is the FF button being used on 1-10 or just #11?

     I listed the various couple storylines that are on going or in development. I started with the 5 active couples. I continued with the new and evolving couples that have been paired together.

    I didn’t mean to imply that all were having sex, but just appeared to be a couple. As for Daniel and Nicole, they have been down that road before.

    I was trying to point out that there are many coupling storylines going on, but one of them is a gay storyline.

    I usually am a lurker, but I really have to chime in to say I agree with Bonbon. Enough already. I know the idea is to shock us, but really, gross isn’t shocking. It’s just gross.

    LOL….. Is it really shocking to anyone?!?  You might be disguisted by it – but that’s your choice.  But shocking in 2015?!?  Where do you live?  Wyoming?!

    If anyone is shocked by gay sex/gay couples on T.V. then I need to know where you live in the United States b/c guess what – we are everywhere!!! 

    Now if you are grossed out by it?!?  Well, all I can say is grow up.  I am a gay male and I watch Orange is the new black and guess what…. there are lesbian scenes in it.  Am I grossed out by it – no.  I don’t like lady parts but that does not mean I don’t enjoy the show.  I also think it’s funny and well written and that’s part of what we are shown.  

    Daytime soaps are all about pushing boundaries – putting gays at the forefront is a boundary that needs to be pushed.  You don’t like it – don’t watch it.  You are bothered by it that much – press FF on the remote.  I hate seeing Eve/JJ b/c too me that’s just icky – not cuz it’s straight but b/c it’s gross.  So guess what – I FF it.  Doesn’t mean it’s the "Eve and JJ of our lives."  It just means I don’t like it.  

    And anyone who starts off a sentence with "my friends are gay" or "i have friends who are gay" or "i’m not homophobic but" usually dont, definitely don’t or are (respectively.)  It’s like saying I’m not racist – I have friends who are black but I don’t want to have them in my house.  

    For years I have watched every straight person on this show bed every other straight person – I’m gay but I am not grossed out by it.  It just isn’t my cup of tea but is essential to the story.  Do I think the sex scenes are a bit much (EJ/ABBY anyone?)  Yup!!!  But – what can ya do?!?  I much prefer some kissing, a commerical and when we come back the deed is done.  But I don’t film the show (and yes I’d prefer that for the gay scenes too.  I have gay sex, i don’t need to watch it on TV.)  

    Really people – get over it or turn it off.  Thank You and good night :)

     I am very disappointed in Will’s behavior. He has certainly come back from hollywood a much different person. I guess he found it flattering that another person is attracted to him, but for him to jump in bed with Paul without any regard to Sonny just seems uncharacertisic for him.

    I feel that Will has been ruined and I hope he gets his heart broken!!

    Thanks for the support everyone.  For the record – I don’t think anyone is ill intentioned – just a bit ignorant.  I’d wager that anyone who has an issue with these "gay storylines" are probably 70 or older.  Not to say anyone over 70 can’t be okay with the stories (I’m sure…and hopeful some are) but in my opinion the people who take issues with gays being "shoved down their throat" for "shock value" typically are of the older variety.  

    Not mean spirited or anything…. just ignorant and haven’t been taught any differently.  I like this board – and I hope to keep reading and posting on it for a long time.  This is just one of those things where we compromise…. I’ll do it my way and you’ll do it my way :)
