I’ve really been disappointed. It was played out with such low drama and the dialog and action could have been much more electric. I mean this was one of the main characters – what a subpar ending. There was no leadup to this, no tense anticipation. Maybe the frantic and pressurized pace to get the old stories done and with one writer’s absence has finally caught up?
It is really sad but it seems like they didn’t really want to make Will’s dealth a big deal. There were more scenes with Serena and Paige (after the fact of course) and the scenes with Marlena were detailed and down right scary. It reallt seemed like the writer’s attitude was , "Hey, let’s get this over with". There was actually more scene about the staging than the actual murder, and they were not down well. Ben had staged the body with the tie on Will’s chest. however, when Gabby saw the bodythe tie was on the floor.
Very poor writing and directing. For all the build up, I thought the ajority of the episode would center on Will and the murder (including some struggling and fighting. Will kind of went our like a wimp. REallty sad ending. There was far more action when Nick got killed!
I thought from the get-go it was Ben. Even when people insisted it wasn’t. I’m not disappointed because I’m enjoying watching Ben unravel. I look forward to him being caught and the story with Abigail. I also like the fact that we probably all realize the baby is Chad’s and that Clyde changed the DNA test. I’m looking forward to seeing the aftermath and maybe that’s what will be the shock and awe of the story.
