and what has she done with Kate Roberts DiMera. Please, enough of weepy, mopey, hovering, lovesick pariah who is trying to convince me she has fallen head over heels in love with Rafe? It has me scratching my head in wonderment, seeing as how SHE decided they should not even be together. And really, Kate, why DIDN’T you tell Kayla and Abe that you knew Rafe thought Sami shot him? Maybe because that’s what you want him to think??? But, instead, he screwed up that thought when he brought it up again, this time IN FRONT OF HIS DOCTOR AND THE ACTING POLICE COMMISSIONER. I’m giving Abe kudos for nailing her hiding it from them. Honestly, I’m so over this stupid older broken woman in love storyline, now blaming herself for Rafe’s misfortune. Enough, already. I hope he doesn’t remember your pouncing on him faster than Nala on Simba, and you go back where you belong — being the corporate vicious villainous you were meant to be. Redeeming you is every bit as ridiculous as redeeming Stefano DiMera, or Sami Brady, or E.J. DiMera, or Nicole Walker for that matter. I’m sure Lauren Koslow is loving this role, but the new Kate is practically cringe-worthy to me.

Well, I guess ther is no pleasing everyone. For a long time, many have complained that Kate was a b*t*h that spent all her time interferring (much like Maggie) in her children’s relationships. Some many people have complained that she was a lying, manipulative monster.
Now they take her in a different direction, and guess what? people don’t like it. Well, everyone always complains that Sami never grows up or changes. Now Kate has changed. Why is it so strange that she connected with Rafe? For the record, Kate broke up with him because she was afraid that Stefano would go after Rafe— and he did!!
I remember a time when Kate was with Roman and she had a sofe side. So it is not impossible.
I like Rafe and kate together because they bring out the good side of each of them. What is wrong with that?
But I hate her being evil. I alway thought she was better as a ruthless business woman. When she started getting involved in her kids’ lives to the point of having Sami on death row, poisoning Chloe, helping Billie break up Bo and Hope, sorry, but she was despicable. So Kate sappy sweet is over the top. She is meant to be edgy, but that doesn’t mean I want her as evil and horrible as she was when she poisoned Chloe and framed Daniel.
Business savvy is palatable. Evil is despicable. Poisoning someone and framing her lover, watching someone be sent to death row and breaking up a marriage because you want to "help" your kids, that the Kate I hate.
with brains, beauty, and the mind of a shark in a pool full of minnows — and that’s the way she should stay – for me anyhow. She belongs with Stefano DiMera — I would love to see what would be happening to Sami and E.J. if Kate and Stefano were still together today, but I’m afraid that train’s left the station. Not everyone has to have a love interest to be a great soap opera character, and certainly not a couple with zero chemistry in the love department, which is what Lauren Koslow and Galen Gering have – zilch; zero; nada. As always, of course, this is JMO.
