The writing sucks. This is sweeps. We have all come up with better ideas than the writers time and time again. Let’s just give them the story outlines we want and do the heavy lifting and they can fill in the blanks. Easier for everyone. I will get the ball rolling…
Ava- No. Nobody likes or wants her. Send her packing. We don’t want a baby or Steve and Kayla broken up.
Andre-bye bye. He sucks and is no Stefano. You want a villain? Bring back Clyde Weston! Hell, bring back Ben Weston. Deimos has some potential.
John- get this Black Patch thing going. I am tired of his vague past BS. Make a history and stick with it!
Brady- Find the mystery woman, dump Theresa.
Eric- Become a savior for Jennifer.
Jennifer-make this drug addiction storyline realistic. She needs to hit rock bottom. No more goodie two shoes or butting into her kids lives. Get dirty get selfish. Then get redeemed in time for Jack to return.
Marlena- do something! So many people in need of therapy! Abigail, Hope, Jennifer! Be a parent! Belle and Sami are off the rails and Eric! So much juicy material. Stop coddling everyone and get to work!
Ciera-Sorry we need a recast. This character has potential but needs a new actress who can handle the material,
Loni- recast or fire her. Not sure what the point of this character is.
STOP making Hope a silly, helpless woman who can’t get by without a man saving her all the time. She was a strong, independent woman while Bo was gone and then he came back for 5 minutes and she has been reduced to a sniveling, hallucinating, fool of a woman who after how many years as a police officer seems to think that just because Andre has her gun it is PROOF POSITIVE that she shot Stefano. Did Andre dig a bullet out of Stefano before the building blew up? No? Well then he still has no proof.
STOP jumping from storyline to storyline on a minute to minute basis. I can’t keep up, it’s almost like flashbacks. One second Hope, one second Theo, and then BLAM out of nowhere Abe and Lani are having a meal and discussing Rafe and Hope as if Lani has known them both forever.
Get Andre some better clothing, please. I mean, Sami just took all the money so he should have had a few dollars to spend on clothes that don’t look like they came from the Second or Third Time Around Store. Is he supposed to be portraying the spirit of old money lost because he sure looks like everything has come crumbling down on his clothes.
Abby is driving me crazy because I truly think she is crazy. Always crying, always wtih this horrified look on her face. If she is suffering from PTSD then get her some help because lately I cannot stand when this character is on screen.
And this whole Kayla and Steve and Ava storyline is completely ridiculous. Steve looks like the world’s biggest fool, doing whatever Ava wants. Finally at least Kayla had the cojones to call Roman about what Ava is doing. But now we have to deal with Joey hating his dad for doing his would be girlfriend, biggest YUCK since JJ and Eve. (HMMM, Ava and Eve similar names, Joey and JJ, both the same letters…)
I just can’t even watch the show much anymore. I feel like it drags on forever and that makes me sad because I was enjoying it for a while there.
please get rid of Abe’s daughter, whatever her name is. She made herself unlikeable. Don’t send Ava packing, kill her instead. Put Andre to pasture, he’s a cartoon villain and his story is dumb. Since nuCiera has no emotions, please get new one. Chase can leave too.
I’m sure I’ll be able to think of more things later, but those are the ones that bother me the most.
is leaning on Rafe to this extent. It’s in a way kind of taking advantage of the guy knowing he loves her. And so far I can’t take this killing Stef story seriously. Where’s the drama? And yes, I do not get shivers up my spine from Andre. He is peanuts compared to a baddie like Clyde.
Lani, what’s her purpose? I don’t even find any chemistry between her and her father or brother.
And let’s ramp up the Jennifer addiction. I want to see some real life down and dirty desperation guts to this. Again I say this soap suffers from too many characters – time to pare down the field.He was great on the show. The one who bores me to tears is Eduardo. I wish they would let him go and bring Clyde back!
because he was such a popular character when he was on the other show for so long…can’t remember which one it was but he has become a real bump on a log here.
I also wholeheartedly agree about Eduardo. He is boring, emotionless and cold. Are we supposed to root for him? The man has never once smiled or showed any sort of feeling.
