FauxRafe and Stefano plan to get rid of Ali and he tells Rafe. EJ learns about it and tells Kate to call Lucas and have him take Ali ASAP. Rafe tries again but, "ultimately they take Rafe out of the picture and it’s just" FauxRafe. There’s also a comment about a former replacement being considered as a new replacement for a main role. (sounds like Philip role to me with the actor that played him last time being considered again).
They are also casting a30-40 gorgeous caucasian male "Fletcher" to play a charming business ma with an edge. Experienced daytime or nighttime only! Carly’s son is also mentioned as being brought back.
Sounds like it’s most likely Phillip since most of the characters on there are original or the first replacement.
I was thinking Taylor since she’s being replaced by Tamara Braun but Tamara wasn’t a replacement for anyone since the role she played was an original and not Taylor. Stephanie is the first replacement unless you count infant Stephani as original and the redhead as the first replacement. Bo did have a replacement in Robert Kelker Kelly but I don’t see Peter going anywhere. There’s oly been one Stefano, EJ, Lexie, Dan, Victor, Nicole and Brady is the only replacement for the original ADULT Brady. Maggie, Chloe, Melanie are originals. Kate is the first replacement in that role. So the logical one would be Phillip.
who will once again be replacing JKJ as Philip??? I wouldn’t mind that. I liked Kyle. As for Nicholas Alamain, I did read that he will be returning to Salem, but not with Victor Webster in the role (boo-hoo). He’s too close to Crystal’s age to portray her son (Crystal is 46; Victor is 38), but they are casting for a Nickey Alamain return. Yeah — (better put a leash on your wife then, Stefano).
I wouldn’t mind that. He did a good job and it would be someone we’ve already seen as that character.
like he was beginning to soften toward Rafe after that imbecilic, moronic faux Rafe was beating the life out of a completely defenseless Rafe. Seems like regardless of what Stefano wants, E.J. is not going to allow harm to come to Allie. So, finally, I have to give Junior a few points for that decision. His Grinch heart might have grown a 1/4 inch yesterday.
to the original Nicholas, Erik Von Detten. I thought he was pretty cute as a kid but don’t know how he’d come off as an adult. I guess it would depend on what direction they want to take him. But at least he’d be the right age.
And they could bring Victor Webster back AFAIC. He’s only 12 years younger and Carly was very young when she had him. Besides, remember Stefano and Tony were only eight years apart.
As far as bringing Kyle Brandt back, I don’t think I’d like that. He never impressed me that much and people on the newsgroup I frequented way back then said what a jerk he was in real life. I guess he was on that show where everybody lives in the same house and gets voted off one at a time (Big Brother?). I never watched it but they sure ruined my image of him.

Kyle Brandt replacing JKJ. I never reall liked Brandt. Actually, Jay will always be Philip to me.

gentleman playing Phillip at all. Some "replacements" have grown on me, other’s like him never have. I’m going to miss "dimples"!

I don’t think so. Would the viewers really accept this thug as Rafe?
Maybe they’ll send Rafe to that island Viv was on. I don’t care what happens, Rafe2 can never evolve into Rafe, the Original.
and the cover says: "A Wedding … And A Funeral??" With the comments about the other headwriter being fired and comments that it was due to the story, I would think they are between a rock and a hard place now! This ‘crap’ with Rafe2 was written months ago if not longer! The show is airing over a month to 2 behind the actual taping. It will make undoing the ‘crap’ even harder to do. Just my opinion!
What if Rafe2 comes back to the cell like he did before and Rafe the Original knocks him out and changes clothes with him. Then he goes to EJ and says that crazy guy is trying to convince you now that he’s me…ha-ha, ha-ha.
So then, Rafe the Original goes back to Sami and EJ and Stefano decide finally to kill off Rafe, not knowing he’s really Rafe2. How’d that work?
Now that would make for a fun turnabout (it is fair play, you know). Cause that could start a whole new story line where real Rafe works undercover to nail the Dimeras by playing Rafe2 and recording the conversations between himself and Stefano and EJ and thus finally takes down the Phoenix or at least makes them pay for something.
