… Tomorrow will be worse I’m sure. Poor Abe.
June 19, 2012 at 6:17 pm #33827ladyofherbsParticipantI was also crying at the end of the episode, even though I knew it was comming. Very dignified way to go.
June 19, 2012 at 6:58 pm #33828NoraParticipantAdd me too, it was very emotional. I feel so sorry for Abe. I’m sure tomorrow will be worse when he has to let everyone know.
June 19, 2012 at 8:02 pm #33829PattiParticipantthe acting was heart wrenching, to say the least. Kudos to Renee and James. They broke my heart.
June 19, 2012 at 8:41 pm #33831lynnekarenParticipantJune 19, 2012 at 9:40 pm #33832caseyParticipantthe later scenes which clearly showed the couple in the late afternoon sunlight. So well done by both actors. It’s a shame some of the best writing was done because the writers were forced into Renee’s departure. Wouldn’t it be cool to have Days create a SL submitted by viewers?
June 19, 2012 at 11:28 pm #33834majencoParticipantThe acting by both was wonderful. Saddest moment since the death of Zack.
June 20, 2012 at 2:21 am #33839GoodyParticipantVery sad! Good acting.
I just hope that Abe will have time to grieve and help Theo adjust before the writers shove him into a new relationship with someone else.
Goody
June 20, 2012 at 3:19 am #33840devorrahParticipantYes it was remarkable. These two have know each other for so long and their chemistry is undeniable. It did look strange to me to see Renee have such long straight hair, probably a wig or extensions. And the way she did not wear makeup lately and the way her eyes reddened up as she cried. It was excellent acting from a class act in Renee Jones and her character will totally be missed by all.
June 20, 2012 at 5:24 pm #33845mommytutuParticipantWow! Just finished watching Tuesday’s show and Abe just broke my heart. The whole show with them was so well acted. Every time Lexie took a breath and paused like she was trying so hard to last a little longer was so sad and then when Abe realized Lexie had passed I felt for him. Truly two great performances.
June 20, 2012 at 5:48 pm #33846NoraParticipantWow, I just have been on the verge of tears all thru the episode, but I really lost it just now when EJ was telling Abe that Lexi was his best and only friend. I just lost it. Lexi looks beautiful as a ghost.
And with will and everyone, really enjoyed their scenes too.
June 20, 2012 at 6:53 pm #33847cornbreadParticipantand worried that Abe and Kayla are going to be forced down our throats for some reason. I just have a feeling about it.
June 21, 2012 at 10:28 am #33851BonbonParticipantit was kind of distracting having Lexie’s arm in Abe’s crotch like that. That was the first thing that caught my eye. I noticed it was moved across his lap in the next scene. I liked that I didn’t know it would be the day she died and not previously "spoiled" for me.
What really got to me was Theo. When he said mommy went to heaven I broke down. I was surprised that I Abe didn’t make me cry, in spite of the totally touching scene. Also, when EJ came in and was talking to Abe about Lexie, I had more tears.
I wonder if we’ll see anymore of "Ghost Lexie" or if that was truly the end.
June 21, 2012 at 1:30 pm #33860MKParticipantVery touching and beautiful. I thought it was done perfectly.
