Patti, I cannot believe how snakebit your team is. When I think of how many last minute losses they’ve had and what a switch from the last few years – it must be tear you hair out time.
And Power, your Pack losing to Detroit at home? I swear these injuries can kill a team. I mean the Bills lost to the Jags due to ten starters out. And now without Andrew Luck, that division is anyone’s right now. Back to GB, AR is clearly frustrated and I caught him having words with the coach. Boy I would never believe this one! My sympathies to you both. What a whacky year!November 16, 2015 at 2:33 am #49649powerpaw2ParticipantHe usually looks very relaxed and is smiling. Today he really looked like he had something on his mind.
Sorry Patti. Living in Jax I have to be happy for the Jags unless they are playing Green Bay.
November 16, 2015 at 1:42 pm #49652caseyParticipantDuring the moment of silence for the Paris bombings, some jerko shouted a Muslim slur and post game the Packs QB called him out in a classy way. Nice to hear, especially sinice AR couldn’t have been feeling very great after his team’s loss.
November 16, 2015 at 2:21 pm #49653PattiParticipantbut I still can’t begin to imagine how Elvis Dumervil feels today, and don’t imagine he got a good night’s sleep last night. That final penalty will stay with him for quite some time, no matter how he tries to tuck it away. So heartbreaking was this loss! Anyway, congrats to the Bills, casey; at least they pulled off a win. And don’t count the Packers out, powerpaw2…at least their still in contention, which is more than I can say for us.
November 16, 2015 at 9:19 pm #49655caseyParticipantDenver without Manning; Indy without Luck; Pats without Eldeman and Lewis. Injuries could well flip the switch on the usual contenders. Hey, I wouldn’t even count out the Jags!
November 17, 2015 at 12:59 am #49660powerpaw2Participant… because he knew he was going to be running for his life. Pass protection wasn’t too shiny and the receivers get no separation between themselves and the defenders. No running game meant over 60 pass attempts. Ugh!
The Bills have some awesome guys in the secondary! And I feel bad for Joe Flacco. He looks like a nice guy.
November 17, 2015 at 1:01 am #49661powerpaw2ParticipantI have two Muslim guys on my team at work. I consider them to be my friends and not just colleagues.
November 17, 2015 at 3:42 am #49665PattiParticipantJoe threw for 345 yards and 3 touchdowns. I certainly can’t complain about his talent. He’s an awesome quarterback, and as cool as a cucumber in the trenches. That’s why his nickname is "Joe Cool." Great guy, on and off the field, so they say.
November 17, 2015 at 1:52 pm #49667caseyParticipantlast night with Houston giving Cincy its first loss. This is going to be a wild finish!
November 17, 2015 at 2:12 pm #49669PattiParticipantif he can stay in the pocket. Once anyone can make him run out of it, he loses momentum and tends to throw more incomplete passes. Last night was the perfect example of that. Kudos to Houston for holding a really good team to two field goals.
November 17, 2015 at 2:16 pm #49670PattiParticipantNow Goodell and the NFL are saying that the game should have been declared over and the penalty allowing the winning field goal by the Jags was unjust, i.e., the Ravens should have won. Too little, too late!
November 17, 2015 at 11:12 pm #49675caseyParticipantI hear ya Patti as the Bills have had their share of bad breaks too.
November 18, 2015 at 12:12 am #49677powerpaw2ParticipantI just heard it on the radio. I don’t like winning like that.
November 23, 2015 at 2:33 am #49758powerpaw2ParticipantThe Packers broke the losing streak by decisively beating the Vikings in Minnesota. I don’t know who the imposter was who was wearing #27 the past few weeks, but the Eddie Lacy we know and love is back!
Congrats to your Ravens Patti. I really feel sorry for Flacco though.
Casey, I hope the Bills beat the Patriots because I can’t stand those cheaters. And one of my buddies at work is a Bills fan.
November 23, 2015 at 2:53 pm #49762caseyParticipantthe Pack would win so congrats. Patti, what heartbreak losing Flacco. I am not optomistic of the Bills beating the 9-0 Pats on the road but maybe with the loss of Eldeman and Lewis, their best chance. But not counting on it.
