that snakebitten doesn’t even begin to cover it. I mean, how many more key players do we need to lose? Joe Flacco was the worst for me, though. Not only is he out for the season, but he’s questionable for next season as well, because he not only tore his ACL, but his MCL. How he stayed in the game to control the clock amazes everyone who knows the pain he must have been in. Now he’s facing major surgery, which could easily take up to 2 years to complete his recovery. Then, to add insult to injury, we lose Justin Forsett, who broke his arm and also said goodbye to this season. Needless to say, our victory was not so victorious for our Ravens. Gloom all over Charm City today!
So, I’ll be rooting for you both, casey and powerpaws2. I know I should be rooting for the Bengals, since they are in our division, but honestly my heart just isn’t in it. Would love to see the Bills take the Pats casey. Keep the faith!
November 24, 2015 at 3:16 pm #49784PattiParticipantany update on Tyrods injury? All I was thinking was, ‘OMG he broke his collarbone.’ Hope that’s not the case. They gave the Pats a run for their money, just came up one T.D. short. At least the Bills have a shot at controlling their destiny, so keeping my fingers crossed for them. Sammy Watkins is freakin’ amazing!!!
November 24, 2015 at 3:16 pm #49782PattiParticipantsorry, double post!
November 24, 2015 at 11:22 pm #49786caseyParticipantA call that could have impacted the game was deemed “wrong” today by the league. Just like with your Ravs last week. Bills defense kept Pats to their lowest output of the season but the offense just didn’t quite make it. And Taylor has a sore shoulder but should play Sunday. This game with KC is crucial to keep in the playoff hunt.
November 25, 2015 at 2:46 am #49787powerpaw2ParticipantThe Bills were still in it, but I was exhausted from Krav Maga class. What happened to Tyrod?
November 25, 2015 at 1:53 pm #49796caseyParticipantJust hit on his shoulder when he fell to the ground. Today the NFL admitted not just one “indisputably bad call” by the refs but THREE on the Bills! Definitely could have altered the outcome.
November 26, 2015 at 2:51 am #49811powerpaw2Participantsometimes I wonder.
November 27, 2015 at 2:05 pm #49832caseyParticipantIMO. Anyway, PP, what is up with the Pack? Never thought they’d lose to da Bears, especially at Lambeau and on the night #4’s was retired. Have to pin this on injuries – just like the Bills. They are going into tough KC with 5 starters out including Mario and Kyle Williams on defense. I’ve never seen such an injury prone year. Poor Dalals with Romo just getting back only to re-injure that collarbone.
November 27, 2015 at 7:52 pm #49835PattiParticipantand bad calls, the entire NFL seems to be disjointed this season; well, all except for the Pats and the Panthers …. and what’s with all the quarterbacks getting injured this season, too. Romo’s down and out with that collarbone injury again, I think Big Ben is still recovering though still playing, Joe Flacco, Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, and last night Aaron Rogers looked like he hurt his arm., and these are just the ones I’ve been paying attention to. I’m not too worried with Staub replacing Flacco the rest of the year, since he is a seasoned quarterback himself. Just hope he can keep from throwing too many interceptions, which has pretty much been his downfall. Hoping we can pull out a win against Cleveland Monday night.
November 27, 2015 at 11:41 pm #49837powerpaw2ParticipantI think Aaron has one copy of the playbook and the receivers have another. I may have well been out there running the routes. I don’t even see us winning a playoff game at this rate. Jordy Nelson has my vote for team MVP and he hasn’t played a down in regular season.
On a happier note, Favre made me smile as he was very gracious and humble. I cried when Bart came out and then took pictures of him on the television. He and Boyd Dowler were my childhood heroes.
November 28, 2015 at 1:49 pm #49838caseyParticipantseeing Starr, especially since he does not look well.
November 29, 2015 at 3:49 am #49839powerpaw2ParticipantIf I remember correctly, Aaron’s elbow hit someone’s helmet or facemask. Probably made it go numb.
November 29, 2015 at 2:34 pm #49840PattiParticipantI just remember seeing him rubbing it and the announcer saying "seems to be something wrong with Aaron’s arm."
December 1, 2015 at 9:51 pm #49855powerpaw2ParticipantHeck of a blocked kick and return.
December 1, 2015 at 11:00 pm #49862PattiParticipantDon’t get me wrong, I’m happy we got the win after blowing a 20-7 lead, but that blocked field goal attempt and the Will Hill run back all the way to score was unbelievable, and all that happening with only 12 seconds left on the clock. What is it they say….good things come to he/she who waits ….. well, I’m waiting for the Ravens to continue with their successive wins. After that game, I figure we’re just as lucky to sneak in there as anyone else with our record this season.
