they have on dayscafe that Mel and Brady’s relationship is revisited. i hope that doesnt mean they are trying them out as a couple!!
That almost seems gross to me. He is so much older than she is and I’m sorry, but he looks older. She could have passed for 17 or 18 on the show so seeing her with Brady who is obviously 30 something is just enough to give that relationship the "ick" factor.
Ugh! That would be terrible! There is absolutely zero chemistry there. It would just be wrong in so many ways.
How did she and Brady become good friends? I think I must have stopped watching at that time.

Mel walked up on brady on the pier and layed one on him, when they met. Why is it that almost every female that comes into the K Mansion, has to go through all the men in that house. Chloe, Nicole.. now Mel? no no i dont like the idea of Brady n Mel.
No different than Daniel and Chloe. I always felt that he was too old for Chloe. Brady always treated Mel like a little sister, so I can’t accept them as a couple. Mel certainly gets around for a young chick.

use your imagination). Here she just recently professed love for her still hubby Phillip and her wanna-be boytoy Nathan and it’s off to the races with Brady? Why do the writers have to turn almost every woman on the show into a slutty man chaser? and as sickening as it sounds, it’s even worse to visualize. But, with nothing coming in but "male" new cast members, with the exception of Abby, what’s so surprising about it? These people will try anything to keep Melanie in a story line. Why will always be a mystery to me. Although I’m thinking she’ll be put more into Brady’s age group, since they’ve already paired her up with Philip and Nathan, than she would be with someone like Dario. He seems to be in the Will/Gabi age group. So, as repulsive as it might seem, I wouldn’t put it past them to test her chemistry with Brady, since he has always been there for Melanie. Why they are trying to make Melanie older than the Chad/Abby/Gabi/Will group is beyond me. I’ve said many times I would have liked to see her in a story with Chad, since they were a real-life couple at one time.
But in Mel’s case, that is what she always was from back when she was in Europe. Although they changed her character a little, she started out as a run around who duped guys into paying her bills. she had Trent wrapped around her finger and was a big tease. then they redeemed her and blamed it all on trent. But from the tiime she hit Salem, she and Steph were in a race to see who could nab the most guys. Remember when she had the romp in the hay with Philip?
I could never see them as a couple. Tayler is more suited for Brady. Afterall, he is fixated on her sister, so it would be likely that he would be drawn to her. But writers, please NOT Brady and Mel: that is too much like incest.
as a couple of friends who are always there for each other, not a romatic couple. There are too few of these kinds of couples in Salem anyway, so please leave this one alone, writers!
"youngsters" look young to me. He is still way to old for Mel, at 22! Reminds me tooooooooo much of Daniel and Chelsa – yeeeeeeeeeeeuk…aren’t Chelsa and Mel about the same age? Yet, Dannyboy had no qualms about a younger lady to kissy-face with.
