It seems like the demon that possesed Marlena years ago is still affecting folks in Salem. Let’s go down the list shall we?
Caroline: I could almost get behind the idea of her hatred of the Kiriakis’s and not wanting Phillip to have a son after all that Pocket stuff with Kayla, but to go along with and even encourage Stephanie in her desperation about Nathan and how he will run to Melanie if the truth comes out is ridiculous. Even Kayla looked at her like she didn’t know her. A few months ago when Victor married Vivian she was all jealous, she even flipped out on Maggie. Now she hates him again. Please. Total 180.
Bo: I agree that Hope acted nutty even before the whole pill popping thing but to just shack up with Carly out of the blue? Nope. Not Bo. Totally nuts. Since Carly entered the picture he just doesn’t seem to have the connection with Hope that he used to, they used to be practically telepathic. If they want to get these two back together they have a lot of work to do convincing me he even gives a crap about her. Boo! Another 180.
Rafe: We should just call him Lucas 2 now. He went from an incredible stand up guy to Sami’s chump in under a few months. Quitting his job, lying, threatening people’s lives and refusing to acknowledge the fact that his own sister died as a result of his involvement with Sami. Another 180.
Hope: I will leave her alone because of her whole blame the pill defense. Believe me, everyone will pretty much forget that she tried to burn her husband alive so I will suspend my belief on this one.
It seems that the only characters that stay in character these days are the bad guys. Kate, Stefano, Victor and Vivian are the only folks that stay the same. Oh and Sami and Nicole will never change.

Yes, Days needs to put Hope in some believably harrowing danger for Bo to snap out of it and for his emotions for Hope to pour out for me to accept this pair as it once was.
I am truly stumped by and greatly disappointed in the path Days chose for this onetime supercouple. -
