ParticipantShe needs to lighten up. So determined to believe Joey did drugs and blaming it all on Steve’s disappearance. Like his soda couldn’t have been spiked? If I were Joey I’d be thrilled Dad is back if not to just get away from his uptight mom.

Participantand that’s why Steve got that anonymous note left at the front desk. This is probably the beginning of that sl, and I think this is what will draw Kayla and Steve to work together as protection for their family. JMO!

Participantit would have shown up in his tests. She said it was drugs, not poison.

ParticipantKayla seems to have touble betweeen doctor and family! First of all, Kayla is Joey’s mother, and should not be is doctor! That being said, being a doctor, she might assume that he would lie about it as many people do. After all, he has been causing trouble and acting out. With the tests confirming drugs, it is logical for her to thint that.
They could ask Theo about what happened. Even though he is autistic, he is certainly had early intervention and thus is high functioning. He would confirm that Joey indeed did not take anything to drink and who they were with.

Participantsomething along that line it would, but she didn’t. Kayla is performing her function as a doctor on one hand, and a concerned mother on the other in this case, and I’m thinking this is going to be the beginning of a new sl for the Johnsons whereby Steve’s family will be threatened to get to him, so I’m beginning to see this as the initial phase of that sl. I don’t blame Kayla for suspecting Joey would have taken something with the way he has been acting, and even putting the blame on Steve’s return, but I’m willing to bet I’m going to be right on this one, especially since we did not see Joey or Theo take anything, or even drink anything except for that can of soda. Maybe we should look at where he got the soda. I think all of this will have to do with Steve searching for and finding Bo, leading to Bo’s torture and capture and eventually exit sl. Then again, I could be completely wrong!

ParticipantI loved that interview.
I liked Steve’s wink at Joey when he and Kayla went to leave Joey’s room to discuss the situation.

Participantwhile his mother is standing there with the results of a blood test in her hands, would have to admit if he HAD taken any drugs. So, yes, I’d believe him.
