I know they were halted to STOP filming so far in advance…. that pause still on? What’s the end game? To get them in line with how other soaps film? A better reaction time to bad SL (like MOST of the ones on screen now.)
so we can get closer from tape date to air date (strictly network decision I think), and that’s going on right now (think taping actually stopped last week). So instead of a 5-6 month tape to air, it will be more like 3. Also, we will be totally preempted for the summer Olympics, which could even bring it closer, or like 2-3 months. So, with that scenario, by mid-summer we should be watching Higley’s and Quan’s writing, so cross your fingers and hope for the best (LOL)!
shows have been taped all the way through to August, i.e., the 5 week hiatus; however, we don’t know how much more will be cut before some regularity sets in. It may still be close of 5 months for now, but the networks are really trying hard, I believe, to get closer to other soaps in tape-to-air, and at some point I think it will reach a 3 month point, at least! Actually, they need more than one of these hiatuses to even things out, but I don’t imagine the actors would like it that much. I’m sure a lot of what’s already been taped is being cut from week to week. If anyone reads spoilers, you would see where things that were supposed to happen never did because the scenes were cut.
