It seems to me Hope is just a little too carefree and happy at the cabin. What went down with her just weeks ago – the attempted Aiden strangling, Bo appearing after years and then dying in her arms, the whole revenge episode, killing the big bad Stef – all that just slipped away to let’s go ice fishing and growing closer to Rafe. Yes, I get it that this is an escape from all her problems and it’s certainly nice to see her in a better place. Just seems very unrealistic so soon.
pushing them together, just weeks after her father’s death and the whole Aidan thing. I just don’t get that either! I would think both Hope and Ciara would not be up for rushing Hope into a new relationship after all that trauma.
Between NuCiara being hard to watch and believe that a teenager would be pushing for her mom to move on and the face that they have moved Hopes entire story at the speed of light (without changing her nail polish), well it’s hard to invest myself in.
I often use the same combination several weeks in a row if I like it (currently melon and aqua). I imagine Hope has done the same thing unless she has discovered some miracle polish that will last that long without chipping or coming off.
although how soon Hope has gotten over her fears and regrets was a little too quick for me. I did enjoy the family oriented fun banter for a change, but wish they would hold off on Ciara’s pushy attitude in trying to make Hope realize she is happy with Rafe and interested in him romantically. Still soo soon for me, but I’m prepared for it t happen at some point. Right now it just worked for me to get a little away from the dark side the show has been taking us down for a while now. I don’t see either Rafe or Hope making anything more out of it right now, even though I’m sure it’s the start of their eventual love story.
