Every so often they seem to write cast off. Or maybe he requested time for his family – is his wife doing some concerts?
My suspicions also. I remember when Marlena was on before she’d usually go to a medical conference the same time every year as it was in her contract that she worked less hours and had a certain time off yearly.
And, as long as Peter has been on the show, he probably gets at least four weeks…or maybe even more.
the entire time he is in a coma, which is sort of sad. The other day when Victor was talking to Bo, it was nice to hear some of the things he said to Bo about how he wished he had raised him and how much he truly loved him. Sure, he could have said all these things to Bo before his coma, but Bo rejected Victor for a lot of years, too, so hearing him speak to Bo from his heart was endearing to me. Even Billie, when she was speaking to Bo directly, telling him how much people loved him, and specifically mentioned his children and how much Hope loved him, I thought was well done. It seems like it’s the only chance anyone has of truly opening their hearts to one they love is when their in a coma and can’t hear or rebut their feelings, but I happen to like listening to them. I don’t think Peter is doing anything special while he will be off-screen; at least I haven’t read that he is.
